The snap version is here: Thirsties Duo Wrap Snap.
This cover has rise snaps. I think the size change from size one to size two might come at 15 pounds not the 18 pounds recommended but baby shapes vary of course, so weight recommendations are always a rough guess. Great over unpinned prefolds. Size one fits over newborn orange edge or novice green or small yellow edge prefolds. Size two fits over medium red edge, intermediate blue edge or size large brown edge Cloth-eez prefold diapers, trifolded and just placed in the wrap. If you need a cover to fit over size XL toddler prefolds, then you need the Thirsties Cover in Size Large instead.
This is a no-pinning delight, but you can fasten the diaper underneath. They also work very nicely over Workhorse diapers and other fitted or fastened diapers, too. 100% polyester with TPU laminate FREE of VOCs, PVC, phthalates, lead, and latex. Made in the USA.
I was very hesitant to buy H&L due to fear of the H&L wearing out quickly. So far we love this as our night time diapers because it is just a tad faster to put on than snaps. It counts when you're tired new parents!! The H&L is sturdy and hasn't worn the same as a couple other brands that I've received. Thirsties makes a quality diaper.
Love and highly recommend these covers! They’re easy to use and keep clean. They fit our newborn (11lbs 3 wks) perfectly and hold in all moisture. The cool patterns and colors are a bonus! (We are cloth diapering during the daytime and are able to get by using 1 cover a day. [the covers are that great at not absorbing moisture and staying stink-free] We have a total of 3 covers and it works great for us to rotate them between washes.
One of my favorite features of the Duo Wraps are their double gussets. It's an extra protection against poo explosions, and they WORK. The only reason I buy hook-and-loop is because I have a skinny-minny and they fit him better. The downside is he can escape from the HAL easier than snaps, but I'll take the trade off (and wearing pants over the cover is the easy solution). I've tried many different covers over my eight years as a mom and Thirsties wraps are by far my favorite. I've used them on an average-size baby, a "moose" of a baby (doubled his birthweight at three months) and a fall off the charts the wrong way baby (he at least follows his own curve!) I would recommend these to anyone who is looking to CD with flats or prefolds.
A little rough of a material compared to the clotheez but they keep everything from leaking so they are great!
These covers never disappoint. I recommend them highly. I use organic cotton flats underneath and Thirsties works so well with them. I've looked at other covers and these are truly the best. Velcro is strong and has held up well. Also bought the Thirsties swim diaper and it's also great. Designs are so cute!
