Karen's comments: These are not the same fit as the Thirsties sized Cover. The fit of the Duo is trimmer and the size runs differently. I don't want people assuming they are the same as the others but with rise snaps when they really do run differently - this one, the Duo, is narrower and trimmer.
I think the size change might come at 15 pounds not the 18 pounds recommended below (baby shapes vary of course, so weight recommendations are always a rough guess). Great over unpinned prefolds. Size one fits over orange edge or yellow edge. Size Two fits over red edge or brown edge Cloth-eez prefold diapers, trifolded and just laid in the wrap. A no-pinning delight or use over fitted diapers such as Workhorse diapers.
100% polyester with TPU laminate FREE of VOCs, PVC, phthalates, lead, and latex. Made in the USA.
If your toddler outgrows the size 2 cover, check out the Thirsties Cover in size Large. It has enough room inside to fit a very thirsty diaper. Thirsties Cover size large (not the Duo version) is the next size up from the Thirsties Duo Wrap size Two or the even bigger Duo Wrap Size Three instead. Thirsties Duo Wrap size Three is our largest cover.
This Thirsties cover is thin but holds all the wetness in for a heavy wetter. I also like that it is economical to use with prefolds and a doubler rather than buying other types of diapers.
These are my favorite covers. Karen is right, they definitely fit before 18 lb. I was using them successfully on my 14 lb baby on the smallest rise and tightest waist snap. These hold in everything. The few leaks we've had were due to operator error, either choosing the wrong snap setting or we somehow got the diaper bunched all to one side.
Duo wrap covers work so well for us for prefolds. They were our newborn solution with hook and loop and now that she's bigger we got the snaps in size 2. We also use them alone when we do backyard baby pool time as a swim diaper (would not use in a real pool with chemicals as they'd likely affect the elastics).
I was handed down a few Thirsties Duo Wraps secondhand for my first baby, and I loved them so much that I upgraded to the size 2 snap for my 2nd baby! This fit my baby great towards the end of the newborn stage as the adjustable snaps make it able to fit even a smaller baby. I've recently moved up to the next level of snaps and just love that these will grow with her and are SUCH a good value for the amount of use you get out of them. Highly recommend with both Cloth-eez fitteds and prefolds!
I’ve used the same covers for three kids (flips) and wanted to try a new brand and these are great quality; nice fit, buttons that snap well and feel sturdy. The prints and super cute too.
