Stain-hiding Curry (golden color)
Soft rose (pink color)
Why wool? Wool is breathable. This cover is a favorite at nighttime because once prepared it virtually never leaks. The wool is totally untreated and is naturally antibacterial thus doesn't retain odors. Is wool itchy? Commercial wool can be, but this wool is untreated and wonderfully soft. Don't be afraid to try wool! This style has been loved for generations because it is so effective. The 2 layer double knit stretches for a gentle and comfortable fit over a very wide size range. A must for the family bed! Nighttime heavy wetter? This is the answer. It's cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Yes, really! That's because it's so breathable. Wool does need to be hand washed, and occasional lanolization is helpful. But washing is needed only very infrequently, sometimes only once a month. Wool airs out to fresh easily. View our video of how to wash wool here. Don't forget your wool care products. This wool is produced according to the organic standards. Lovely Merino wool. It was called Demeter Certified Organic, which is the highest of pure standards. Those standards are still maintained for beautiful Disana wools. Disana is a wonderful family business located in Germany, dedicated for 2 generations to organic wools and cottons, long before "organic" became a "thing". These are positively beautiful covers. It is knitted wool. We like nice long legs this has. No leg gaps with this one! Once fully broken in, the performance is great. Once prepared, I have never, ever had a leak from one! I think this is the only cover I can can say that about, under even my kiddo's hard and deliberate testing - pushing diapers and covers to their limits. It might be too small in the legs on extremely chubby legs. It is designed to shrink some, and should be prepared by handwashing and felting somewhat (shrunk a bit) before first use. Never machine wash this cover. Do not put it in the dryer. Gently hand wash only. Be sure to add the free How-To Booklet to your cart which has instructions on how to prepare them for use. It is normal and expected for the very fine merino wool to pill with use because it is very soft wool. It's ok to size up if you are in the upper end of the weight ranges that we suggest, they do shrink. Handwash only. Made in Germany.
We have the BIGGEST SIZE! It's on a different page. Size 110-116, tag says 4-5 years, made in natural only. This larger item is available here.
We are huge Disana users. Sometimea I feel like my baby is a walking Disana ad. We have their entire diaper line (tie nappies, fitted, muslin flats, fleece liners, paper liners, boiled wool cover, and of course, the pull-on covers). Plus lots of her clothes are Fisana. The quality is amazing. This is my fifth pull-on cover for our 8mo old. She can still fit the 3-6mo she's been using since birth, but I wanted extra big for the colder weather, so it covers her chest. I can't say enough good things about these covers, they have held up through all my washing error (hot water, scrubbing, wringing), they still look cute, still absorb. My baby gets so many compliments on them.. I like how comfy they are and work in hot or cold weather. This color is my favorite of all.
Disana wool is lovely and breathable and we use this on our 2 month old for overnight but it is bulky and wouldn’t fit under typical pj’s. We use sleep gowns. So far so good and we’ve had no leaks!
I use this at night with my 6 mo old over flats. It feels great and never feels wet against her skin! I line flat with Cloth-eez doubler, hemp doubler or even a prefold. Easy to care for and very reusable before needing to be washed!
I love these! However, the tag said that they were leak resistant as they came, but they were not. They needed to be treated with lanolin before use. They leaked right away.
Thank you for your review. We are sorry if the Disana Manufacturer's tag was misleading. Although the tag does not state that it is leak resistant, because Disana woolen clothing items are made from 100% GOTS certified organic wool the tags state "...washing the articles before wearing them for the first time is unnecessary because they don't contain questionable substances." However, we do our best to communicate on the website and on the enclosed Wool Care Page we send with all woolen items that in order for the Disana Wool Pull On to be effective as a moisture resistant diaper cover it needs to be prepped by felting in the wet zone along with optional lanolizing. We provide instructions for this on the Disana Wool Pull On page, on the Wool Care Page, in the How-To Booklet, and on our website in short instructional videos here: https://www.greenmountaindiapers.com/pages/lanolize We do apologize if this information was not found prior to purchasing or using the cover. Thank you for shopping with us and we hope that you continue to love this cover. It is a customer favorite!
The cover fits all shapes easily. It is thick and prevents leaks. I especially like the high waist. I can't ask for anything more.
