Why wool? Wool is breathable. This cover is a favorite at nighttime because once prepared it virtually never leaks. The wool is totally untreated and is naturally antibacterial thus doesn't retain odors. Is wool itchy? Commercial wool can be, but this wool is untreated and wonderfully soft. Don't be afraid to try wool! This style has been loved for generations because it is so effective. The 2 layer double knit stretches for a gentle and comfortable fit over a very wide size range. A must for the family bed! Nighttime heavy wetter? This is the answer. It's cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Yes, really! That's because it's so breathable. Wool does need to be hand washed, and occasional lanolization is helpful. But washing is needed only very infrequently, sometimes only once a month. Wool airs out to fresh easily. View our video of how to wash wool here. Don't forget your wool care products. This wool is produced according to the organic standards. Lovely Merino wool. It was called Demeter Certified Organic, which is the highest of pure standards. Those standards are still maintained for beautiful Disana wools. Disana is a wonderful family business located in Germany, dedicated for 2 generations to organic wools and cottons, long before "organic" became a "thing". These are positively beautiful covers. It is knitted wool. We like the nice long legs this has. No leg gaps with this one! Once fully broken in, the performance is great. Once prepared, I have never, ever had a leak from one! I think this is the only cover I can can say that about, under even my kiddo's hard and deliberate testing - pushing diapers and covers to their limits. It might be too small in the legs on extremely chubby legs. It is designed to shrink some, and should be prepared by hand washing and felting somewhat (shrunk a bit) before first use. Never machine wash this cover. Do not put it in the dryer. Gently hand wash only. Be sure to add the free How-To Booklet to your cart which has instructions on how to prepare them for use. It is normal and expected for the very fine merino wool to pill with use because it is very soft wool. It's OK to size up if you are in the upper end of the weight ranges that we suggest as they do shrink. Hand wash only. Made in Germany. ADD A SINGLE USE EUCALAN WOOL WASH FOR PREPPING YOUR NEW COVER!
New colors Lagoon and Bordeaux.
This picture is help show the some colors more accurately. The rose is a dusty rose color. The red has some orange tones in it. It is not a cherry red but is more orangy-red. The grey is really grey and not a brownish-grey. The blue is an abalone blue more like the GroVia Abalone blue. It is not royal blue.
We have the BIGGEST SIZE! It's on a different page. Size 110-116, tag says 4-5 years, made in natural only. This larger item is available here.

These diaper covers are my go to for night time diapering. This works beautifully especially when paired with Cloth-eez prefolds! So soft and cozy and keeps my baby and bed dry all night long!
I bought this for my 18lb four month old. Fits nicely with room to grow, which was my intention. Very soft and vibrant color blue. My favorite type of wool cover.
I ordered 2 of these covers a few months ago, and 2 more just last week. They must have changed the product because the newer style has some pleating. I do like the pleating. The overall fabric feels much thinner than my older ones (It's still 2 layers of wool). I haven't put them to the test yet, but I still expect them to be leak free. I love these wool pull ons. We use them for overnight with a workhorse and a nightime doubler. Occasionally I add an extra hemp between the workhorse and the cover and it never slides around. With my extra covers I will be using some during the day too. We are really pleased with this product. At first, I thought they ran super big, even too big to use because I thought they would fall down. But after some research and changing things up, I realized this style works best with a really secure diaper underneath. So, unlike PUL covers, they can't help keep the diaper (absorbant part) up and on the baby. My snappis always seemed to come off because my 16 months old pulls on her diaper a lot. So, I am experimenting with pins and we will see if I can figure this out easily.
After a week of night time leaks- absorbency was there, but heaven forbid a pin dot wet spot made it past the cover- I finally took the plunge and bought a beautiful lagoon cover. My only frustration is that I waited so long to buy this. My husband said it looked like ‘Grandpa pants’ but now that we are all getting full nights of sleep, he hasn’t said it in quite a while. Easy to care for, super soft and comfy. Love having this especially now as it’s getting colder. Wool is wonderful, everything that is written on this site about wool is absolutely true!
We have 3 wool Disana covers in 4 different sizes. All purchased from GMD and all so very loved. They're soft and adorable. Highly recommend!
