These are sewn in small batches so we go out of stock from time to time. Babee Greens Classic is a soft, breathable and beautiful USA made Oeko Tex 100 certified merino wool interlock diaper cover.
Newborn 6-12 pounds
Small 8-18 pounds (runs smaller, to about 15 pounds)
Medium 15-25 pounds (I think this runs more like 12-22 pounds)

Beautiful, highest quality interlock wool. Each cover is hand cut and hand sewn by an impressive team of local seamstresses in North Carolina, USA. Even the threads are natural fibers! I love the snap-side styling! Side snaps provide great coverage for no leak diapering, and I think it's very comfortable for baby because nothing is tight across the tummy area. There are several snap adjustments at the leg and waist for a custom fit. Made of Oeko Tex 100 certified merino wool. The snaps are reinforced with a small section of hidden cotton facing between the two layers of wool, thus the snaps are reinforced. This way the snaps stay strong over the life of the cover and it still is truly a natural fiber diaper cover. A rare find! The wool is jersey knit so it is stretchy and since it's merino, it is soft and comfy. I keep saying "comfy" when talking about this cover! While this style of cover is trim for daytime use, it does work decently overnight for some babies. You might want to size-up for overnight use if in the upper half of the recommended weight range. When it is time to wash it, please wash by hand in a proper wool wash to keep it soft and in shape. Made in the USA of imported fabric. This cover is terrific because it's so soft and cool inside because wool breathes.
This is a diaper COVER. An absorbent cloth diaper must be worn underneath.
The wool is NOT DYED, therefore some dark spots will commonly be evident in the fabric itself. These are not defects. If this is important to you and you would like for us to look through our stock to find ones with no dark spots in the most visible places such as wings, front center or back center, please type a note in the instructions section asking for that and we'll do our best to find one without any in the most visible locations. The color does not affect function. If the wool were dyed, you would not see these but these are undyed so they are visible. Almost all will have some darkness somewhere and locations vary. If we didn't tell you about this, you might not even notice them but we are happy to look through stock for you if you ask us to do so.
No Superwash. Green Mountain Diapers does no sell any products that have Superwash or other finishes.
Question: Does size Newborn fit over Newborn Workhorse? Answer: Yes!
Washing instructions: Wash by hand using a gentle wool wash or a gentle bar soap such as Olive Oil Soap. Detailed instructions are provided here on our website and on the Wool Page which is included with your order.
