Outgrown size Two?  It may be time for size Three.

The Duo Wrap size Three diaper cover is designed for babies and children in the 40-60 pound range. This Duo Wrap has the same adjustable rise and signature leg gussets that work so well on Duo Wrap sizes one and two, now available in a bigger size. This is BIG. If your child is under 40 pounds but has outgrown size 2 Duo Wrap, this may possibly be too big depending on how you like things to fit and how much absorbency you need to put underneath it.  It's a good size jump up, which could be just what you need, but also consider the in-between size Thirsties Diaper Cover size Large which is bigger but not as much of a size jump up.

An exposed PUL ("wipe clean") waterproof diaper cover that adjust with your baby's growth. This is the new size Three for those who outgrow the Thirsties Duo Wrap size Two. Adjustable rise snaps. For use over any style diaper. Made in USA.

A good choice once Thirsties Large cover is outgrown

I have a 40-pound, 42-inch tall, 3.5-year-old boy who is still in diapers full-time. He is tall and thin, and wears Elemental Joy pockets stuffed with large birdseye flats and a hemp doubler during the day, but this is not enough at night. He won't wear wool anymore, so I'm back to using covers. He outgrew Thirsties Duo size 2 when he was 18mo and I moved to Thirsties Large covers. The Large still fits him around the waist but the rise is too short for nighttime use. So I bought a Size 3. This is a BIG cover as Karen says, but even on the shortest rise it comes up significantly higher in front than the Large cover so it's our best option at present. My son won't allow me to snappy flats around him anymore so I padfold the XL swaddle size muslin flat and a newbie prefold inside -- even on the shortest rise, there's plenty of room for this in the Size 3 Duo because it's just an enormous cover.

Great toddler cover

I was a little concerned that this cover might be too big, but it fits my tall, 35 pound toddler very well.

Great cover!

I love Thirsties Duos. The double gussets really help protect against leaks and blowouts. The size 3 is definitely big, but fits really well (with plenty of room to grow if needed) over a Workhorse XL + doubler for overnight use. I had to switch to the size 3 before he was even 30lbs and was worried these would be much too large, but they work!

Fits ~3 yo. & 6 1/2 yo. for Night time

Unsnapped they fit my older daughter who has to wear at night. Snapped up all the way, fits my almost 3 year old. He also wears in daytime some. He's still pooping in them, but no stains on the white elastic so far like the last size down we had. I wrap a microfiber yoga towel around old Clotheez trifolds to keep their skin from getting rashy.

Perfect for active toddlers

My son is 2.5, 38 lbs, and 38" tall. He's always been a chunky boy with big thighs and a chunky butt, but I recently had to admit defeat with his size 2. They no longer went over his fitted dipes for night time, left red marks, couldn't use anything really absorbent anymore, and I'm NOT buying disposables! He's a heavy wetter, VERY active, and I use a flat + hemp doubler with it set on the smallest rise and next to smallest waist snaps without any leaks, rubbing, or irritation. It's big if you're used to the size 2. If you're just pad-folding prefolds or duo inserts, you will get some sag. Adding flats to wrap around the pad fixed that issue pretty cheaply, and it actually did better at keeping his diaper up and comfortable!
