Outgrown size Two? It may be time for size Three.
The Duo Wrap size Three diaper cover is designed for babies and children in the 40-60 pound range. This Duo Wrap has the same adjustable rise and signature leg gussets that work so well on Duo Wrap sizes one and two, now available in a bigger size. This is BIG. If your child is under 40 pounds but has outgrown size 2 Duo Wrap, this may possibly be too big. Consider the in-between size Thirsties Diaper Cover size Large.
An exposed PUL ("wipe clean") waterproof diaper cover that adjust with your baby's growth. This is the new size Three for those who outgrow the Thirsties Duo Wrap size Two. Adjustable rise snaps. For use over any style diaper. Made in USA.
Thirsties duo are hands down my favorite thing about cloth diapers! They converted this skeptic about cloth diapering into a believer!
My 2 yo is not ready for potty training, but his one size diapers were leaving deep red lines on his legs and hurting him, my AI0s were leaking. These are large on him, as reviews said they would be. He is 33 lbs and solid built. I just have them snapped down and they stick out of his pants at the top, but we have had zero leaks and no more red lines or complaints about hurt legs. And they will surely last until potty training. I am sooo glad I got them.
I purchased 12 of these Size 3 covers for my 4 1/2 year old special needs daughter who will never be potty trained. She is small for her age at just 33 pounds, but has outgrown all the one-sized diapers and covers that we own. As the description states, they may be a bit large for kids smaller than the lower 40 pound weight limit, but we use them on the smallest setting and they fit great around the legs, but are a bit loose around the stomach, but we have had no problems with leaking and know that she'll soon grow into them. My daughter is a super heavy wetter and we currently use them on the smallest setting with 2 Cloth-eez Flat Birdseye Diapers folded to fit in them. We use this setup exclusively during the day. My daughter is very active and constantly running around, climbing on things, dancing, jumping, rolling around, basically non-stop energy and we have had zero leaks with these covers, compared to disposables that would constantly sag and could not stand up to her abuse. I also was thrilled with all the bright patterns that are offered for this cover, because my daughter loves bright vivid prints and she picked out the ones she liked the best, most other brands offer just solid colors or more plain prints. My only complaint is that there are not more "girly" prints with bright purple, pinks or flowers. We love the animal prints, but some flowered prints, unicorns, or more vivid butterflies would be a nice addition to our selection of covers. I highly recommend these covers and I hope that in the future they make a Size 4 for even older kids, because I'd love to continue using this brand in the future.
This works great for us over an XL workhorse fitted with 2-3 hemp doublers for night time. Yes, it’s bulky on my 20 lb 6 month old but she doesn’t mind. And no leaks!
