Cloth-eez Birdseye Wipes - white

28 reviews

2-Layer birdseye baby wipes in optical-brightener-free white cotton. Pack of 12.

Stock Status:  In stock. Usually ships in 24 hours.

Two layers of 100% cotton birdseye fabric. About 7 x 7.5 inches after shrinkage with some variation. Before shrinkage they are about 8.5 x 8.5 inches. Fold in half to fit into a wipes warmer.

Quick to prep.   Just wash twice and start using them.

Birdseye fabric has little "birds" woven into the fabric. This is much smoother than terry but not as smooth as flannel. Thus, they have a nice amount of "grippiness" to get stuff off with a balance of being smooth enough for softness. They can also be used as cotton diaper liners, to keep meconium off of your newborn diapers or if you need to use a cream but don't want to use a flushable liner. The cream will wash out of these more easily than a prefold or other diaper because they are thinner, yet you still might have to scrub creams off by hand. Easy washing and fast drying. Also great in the kitchen for little cleanups jobs.

We added a small seam across the wipe to help them keep their shape, yet cotton shrinkage will vary a bit of course.  Suggested amount: 4 packs for a young baby, 3 packs for an older baby. 100% cotton. Two layers of fabric sewn together to keeps stuff off your hands yet they are still thin enough to be easy to use. Made of 100% cotton, exclusive o trim. Made in Pakistan. In packs of 12 wipes.

They fit in most wipes warmers when folded in half. Shown after washing folded in half.

There are many ways to use cotton wipes.  Here is one idea.   See how nice and flat these wipes are after washing?  Trim yet substantial since they are two layers.

A stack of three packs of wipes (36 total), shown after washing, with Diaper Lotion Potion Spray and a GroVia Magic stick (both not included).  The bowl of water on the left is for dipping.   Dip a clean wipe into the water.  Don't double dip.   If you need more cleaning power than water alone, spritz the wipe (or the baby's bottom) with the Diaper Lotion Potion Spray.   Or, touch the moistened wipe across a bar of gentle baby soap.  You can pre-moisten the wipes if you prefer.   You control the ingredients that you use on your baby's most delicate parts.

The water can be warm water for a fresh, warm water wipe.   Try putting warm water in an insulated beverage container and keep that near your changing place.   Wipes warmers are fine, but perhaps use something that you already own.    Young babies tend to prefer warm wipes.

Also available in organic unbleached version.

Does the trick!

I started off with homemade flannel wipes.....they worked well until I realized that you really do need something with a serged edge or else everything that comes out of the dryer will be covered in threads. I was definitely going a little crazy! I decided to purchase these because I already had the birdseye paper towel alternative (which are great, btw!). They feel slightly thinner than the paper towel alternative which I actually really appreciate and they get the job done! All I do is wet them a little with plain water in a spray bottle before use. Wonderful product! I can see these holding up for a long time.

Good quality

These are great! I made a bunch of my own flannel wipes but needed some more. In the throes of life with a newborn, it was easier to purchase some. These are good quality and what I reach for first.

I use the small and large wipes as napkins. I would prefer if I could get them in colors but they are very absorbent and soft.

Meal time must haves

We are a cloth diapering family but I purchased these for the kitchen! I previously tried and love the paper towel alternatives but wanted a smaller version for my kids to use during meals or for small kitchen clean ups. These are just perfect for that. My kids and I use them on a daily basis instead of paper napkins. They hold up well and wash easily. I’ve purchased 4 dozen so far, we love these wipes!

Love these

Love using these, they are our go to wipes and seem gentler on our little guys tush than using store bought wet wipes. Someone got us a pack as a gift and we immediately bought more to have a good supply
