Two layers of unbleached organically grown 100% cotton birdseye fabric. About 7 x 7.5 inches after shrinkage with some variation. Before shrinkage they are about 8.5 x 8.5 inches. Fold in half to fit into a wipes warmer. Birdseye fabric has little "birds" woven into the fabric. This is much smoother than terry but not as smooth as flannel. Thus, they have a nice amount of "grippiness" to get stuff off with a balance of being smooth enough for softness. They can also be used as cotton diaper liners, to keep meconium off of your newborn diapers or if you need to use a cream but don't want to use a flushable liner. The cream will wash out of these more easily than a prefold or other diaper because they are thinner, yet you still might have to scrub creams off by hand. Easy washing and fast drying.
We added a small seam across the wipe to help them keep their shape, yet cotton shrinkage will vary a bit of course. Like all unbleached cotton, wash several times on hot with detergent before first use. Suggested amount: 4 packs for a young baby, 3 packs for an older baby. 100% cotton. Two layers of fabric sewn together to keep seepage off your hands yet they are still thin enough to be easy to use. Made of organic cotton. Made in Pakistan. In packs of 12 wipes.2 layer birdseye wipe shown after washing
They feel soft and am excited to use them. But my package came with 11 wipes. Not 12

They work very well! They are soft and do exactly what is needed of them!
I absolutely love all of Green Mountain Diaper products. I chose to cloth-diaper my child, and all of my diapers and wipes are purchased from GMD. Best quality cotton and quick shipping/delivery. Love it!
I use these for everything. I always keep some in my diaper bag. I'm pretty rough on them but they hold up well. Even if you don't cloth diaper these are great, and if you do, they aren't much more work throwing them in the laundry.
I purchased a pack of these, a wipe sampler, and a bunch of cheap grovia wipes from amazon while I was pregnant. When baby was just born I used disposable wipes to stave off some of the learning curve, then switched to cloth wipes within the first week. After trying all of my available options I wished I'd bought more of these! For the first month or so when baby was especially tiny and his poops especially fluid these things were the best for getting into those little nooks and crannies. As baby has gotten older, I prefer wipes with more texture to be able to grip any messes, but these are still my go-to travel wipe due to their trimness and how easy they are to dampen with a spray bottle of water. They don't hold soap as well though so I usually also pack a grippy soapy wipe along with in case of necessity.
