So, my child isn't yet close to being potty trained, but I figure the sooner we have the goods, the sooner I'll be able to help him learn when he's ready. He loves dinosaurs and so the pattern got him excited from his first look. We currently wear it over his disposables if we use them, and I've put it on him after baths to just hang out in. We aren't using it as a potty training pant yet, though, so no comments yet on its abilities to contain accidents. As for fit, my 2y is tall and lean, 33" and about 29lbs, the medium fits a little big bc he's got thin thighs and belly. Material is well sewn, soft, thick, and the binding on both the waist and the legs is wide and has some stretch. I am happy with these pants and will probably order more once he's using potty trainers.
My daughter loves the prints, I love the cloth pull ups, you can’t go wrong.
My daughter has been potty training for a long time. We just got these to make it a little easier. They are soft and comfy, easy to pull up and down, and cute on the boot. They take awhile to dry like fitteds/aios, no surprises there. I prefer them over the mother-ease training pants we have. They absorb minor accidents but my daughter can still tell when she's wet. I do wish there were a very very light fleece layer, since my daughter gets some wetness sensitivity wearing these.
At home my son uses undies exclusively, but I feel it's unfair to have a tiny little guy embarrassed if he has an accident in public, so we use these in place of disposable pull-ups when we go out and about. Once he had a large accident and his pants did need to be changed, but these really do help keep a public accident from being a big deal. I do feel like they look a little dingy and pilled after a few washes, but nothing terrible.
I ordered these for my 19 month old son who is potty training to use when out of the house for longer periods of time. They have worked great so far. If he has a small accident they absorbed everything. The one time he had a full accident his pants still got wet but not the floor. He loves wearing them!
