This is the same as our Hemp Doubler, (three layers of 55% hemp, 45% organically grown cotton) but topped with a layer of virgin Malden Mills 200 weight polar fleece. Polar fleece allows the moisture to go through but maintains a drier feeling next to baby’s bottom, since fleece is hydrophobic (afraid of water). With quality polar fleece the argument that only disposables keep baby’s bottom feeling dry is simply not true. This washable synthetic really does keep baby’s bottom dry. For all of these sizes of stay-dry doublers, the BLUE edge stitch side is the side that has the stay dry fabric. The blue edge stitch side goes next to baby. Think "b" is for blue is for baby.
Made in the USA from domestic and imported materials.
I use these paired with thirsties cover and a wool cover over that for overnight and no leaks. Also the fleece lining really does stay feeling dry against their skin. Worth every penny.
These work so well and are so easy to use! I needed a new solution for my 18 month old for nighttime. He would pee through a disposable but would be up multiple times a night if I put cloth on him. These were a lifesaver! They keep him dry, he sleeps great and since I can use cloth - no leaks!
Great booster, I add this with his night time diaper and a hemp under. My baby sleeps all night and is a heavy wetter. A large workhorse , this booster and a hemp underneath with a wool pull cover was the only thing that allowed my baby to sleep the whole night! 10-12 hours with NO leaks!!! It is super bulky, but expected if I wanted it to do the job for that long! I plan on ordering 1-2 more so I can always have one for nighttime diapers!
These doublers work perfectly! My daughter was soaking through her AIO diaper every 4hrs or so overnight. Since switching to a prefold and adding this doubler, she's able to sleep 9+hrs at a time without leaks. I'm very happy with the results!
My 18 month old son is a heavy overnight wetter. I have yet to find a fully cloth solution for him, but this is a step in the right direction! He used to wear a disposable with a disposable pad booster and a diaper cover over, and that was the best absorption I could find for him. However I just hated having the bleached petrochemical disposable item against his skin overnight. I ordered these inserts instead, and they absorb just as well if not better than the disposable boosters! Now he at least has cloth against his skin, with his disposable diaper over that, and a cover over that. It much more healthful and budget friendly solution! These doublers wash well, are very soft, and provide excellent absorbency!
