An exposed laminate ("wipe-clean") TPU (also called PUL) cover with a snap-down rise and stretchy tabs. One size fits most. Works great with prefolds and fitteds too. This cover is known for it's great fit over a very broad size range. It is and excellent choice over trifolded prefolds and it also fits well over the Workhorse diapers, too. Manufactured by Cotton Babies. Tried and true bumGenius quality. Patented design made in USA. (TPU and PUL mean the same thing).
They look so much nicer in real life, I think. Lovely, gentle elastic that works. A very comfortable cover.

Please wash bright and dark colors separately or with like colors a few times before washing with light colors to avoid color transfer. Just like you don't put new jeans in the wash with white towels, don't put new brights in with white diapers at first. Once washed and prepped several times then it is ok to wash them with lights and whites. This is true for all brands of covers, all-in-ones and for pail liners and wet bags too.

I wish I had bought these sooner and not as many of the other brands. They are a great fit on both of my kiddos. One is short/chubby and the other is long/lean. We use prefolds folded into a trifold under these Flip covers and the combo is great! No leaks at all and appear comfortable!
These have been my favorite type of cover! They fit my baby really well. They are less bulky than the others.
We just bought some more Flips and Thirsties now that we are expecting again and found out it’s twins this time so we need a bigger stash. I’m a sucker for the vibrant colors and limited edition prints that you get with the Flips, but I think my favorite part about them is that the leg elastics don’t seem to stain as easily as the Thirsties. We also never had a problem with blow outs through the leg holes even without the double gussets. The Flips were perfect for a middle ground between the two Thirsties sizes. I know I’ve seen bloggers describing having to replace the leg elastic on Flips, but we never experienced that issue, maybe because we had a large enough stock not to wear out any one cover. (An aside, I have found that daycare providers are much more likely to change the cover with every diaper change, so we found we needed more covers than we might have if I were a SAHM). Lastly, with my son I did find that the Flip’s front “pocket” was more likely to get saturated and require a cover change, but YMMV, especially if you have girls.
Overall, these are a fine diaper covers, they are just a bit tedious because the snaps often pop open so that one needs to re-snap them. What is strange is that we ordered one of the same Flip covers last Fall (2017) and it doesn't have this problem at all. The two we ordered this Spring (2018) both have the snap issue and somehow feel cheaply made - is it possible that something changed on the production/ manufacturing side? i wonder if others have noticed this apparent change in quality.
