An exposed laminate ("wipe-clean") TPU (also called PUL) cover with a snap-down rise and stretchy tabs. One size fits most. Works great with prefolds and fitteds too. This cover is known for it's great fit over a very broad size range. It is and excellent choice over trifolded prefolds and it also fits well over the Workhorse diapers, too. Tried and true bumGenius quality. Patented design made in USA. (TPU and PUL mean the same thing).
They look so much nicer in real life, I think. Lovely, gentle elastic that works. A very comfortable cover. Cloth-eez prefolds sizes Small and Intermediate can get you through all of the rise settings of the Flip cover, although all sizes Newborn through Medium will work well. More information.

Please wash bright and dark colors separately or with like colors a few times before washing with light colors to avoid color transfer. Just like you don't put new jeans in the wash with white towels, don't put new brights in with white diapers at first. Once washed and prepped several times then it is OK to wash them with lights and whites. This is true for all brands of covers, all-in-ones and for pail liners and wet bags too.

I have used Flip covers for all three of my children and they are by far, my most favorite cover for cloth diapers. They worked well for my two tiny babies as well as my chunky one. They snap and unsnap easily, hold integrity for a long time (I've been able to use some of the same covers as hand me downs for the next child) and the sizing works great for different body types. I've been using this brand for 6 years and have never needed to look at another brand.
Flips and thirsties are our go-to’s. Love these and the colors are super cute! The quality is great and we love that they are made in the USA. My husband is also a big fan. I tend to favor the flips because the elastic sides don’t seem to hold the moisture like our thirties do, which means we can use the covers for more changes. Whereas, our thirsties feel wet on the elastic after 1 or 2 changes and I end up changing the cover too. Love them and will always keep them in our rotation.
We had heard over and over that a cover that fits your baby well at one time may not fit them well as they grow and change. We didn't believe this until we started getting leaks with another brand of cover that had previously been our go-to. So, we decided to try one of a bunch of different covers, including Flip. We LOVE the Flip cover. The elastic fits snuggly but not too snuggly, and we don't have a problem with gaping at the belly (which is where we were having leaks) unlike our other brand. Flip doesn't have the double gusset at the legs, so I don't think it would have worked well for us during the newborn, runny poop stage. But that isn't a problem now. A bonus is the "I am a genius" phrase on the diaper patterns, which we love.
1. Made in USA 2. Stretchy “tabs” allow baby to move comfortably 3. I have a blowout baby and he has never blown-out in his Flip diapers- leg and back elastic hold it all in! 4. Snaps on “tabs” are vertical and super easy to snap- horizontal snaps are annoyingly harder for me to snap when baby is moving about. 5. fabric is easy to spray clean. 6. Love using these with flats as flats clean and dry just as fast as the Flip diaper. 7. The single color diapers make for wonderful pictures. *every time I change his diaper, I move were I last had the leg elastic- it does leave a red mark and I don’t want to make one area tender by keeping the elastic in the same spot all day. (I would imagine all cloth diapers leave red marks) *my only complaint about Flip diapers is that you can’t really wipe the pee out and reuse them a couple times before washing them, because there is like a polyester or nylon piece of fabric behind the rise snaps- I’m sure it’s to provide more support for those snaps.
For some reason, the snaps aren’t as tight as my other flip covers (when putting on, the rise snaps accidentally unsnap frequently). I guess it’s just this lot of covers.
