New edge colors and we now use organic white cotton.   Yellow edge doublers now have orange edges.  Former white edge doublers now have grey edges.

The same lovely prefold fabric as our beloved Cloth-eez® prefolds in a doubler sizes.  Chlorine-free, optical brightener-free organic white cotton.  White cotton is easier to prep than unbleached cotton.  Both sizes are 8 layers (8-ply) of 100% cotton. I love the prefold fabric because it's so soft and pliable. It is quilty just like prefolds are so they come out of the dryer curly and need to be flattened out by hand a bit.  Regular top load machines curl them less than HE machines do.  This is the nature of the twill prefold fabric. I like to match fabrics.  This prefold fabric washes very easily and doesn't hold stink because it is 100% cotton. And best of of all, they are very inexpensive. Doublers add additional absorbency in any style diaper. You can fit the size small into any size Workhorse diaper or any diaper.  Not the same as inserts. For pocket diaper inserts we have them here. 100% cotton exclusive of trim. Made in the Pakistan.

Both this organic white version and the made of unbleached organic version shown after washing

A cotton doubler is such a simple thing that makes such a big difference in stopping leaks.

Great product and value

These doublers work great. I put them with hemp for overnight in my pocket diapers. Super absorbent for how trim they are. If I put two of the doublers together, they work as day inserts for my 4 month old. My only complaint is the baconing effect. It takes a bit of extra time to flatten them out after they curl up in the dryer. I wish they were pre-shrunk before being sewn together, but they are perfect functionally!

So many alternate uses

I used cotton instead of gross disposables as mama cloths for years. I previously had a friend surge the pads for me, but thankfully GMD came out with the doublers. Paired with a wool liner, I have never had a leak. Sadly I had to have hysterectomy, but they have been perfect for that too for so many ways from liner to protect clothes to padding over the incision. I love that GMD products are so versatile.

added absorbency

I was ready to give up on cloth diapers and struggling with leakage until I got those doublers! Night and day difference. No more leaks and I am now able to change my son's diapers every 2-3 hours instead of on the hour.

Smaller than I imagined

I have been loving these cotton inserts for diapering my 4 week old. They are shorter than I was expecting (I should have paid closer attention to this detail) + thin. My favorite part is how trim they are which makes for a great daytime insert.

Thank you for the review! Just for clarification, these are doublers, intended to boost absorbency of a cotton diaper. For inserts you can find Cloth-eez Inserts (which are much bigger) here:

Extends the use of pre-folds

We were using pre-folds and covers during the newborn stage, but as baby grew and started filling his diapers more we started getting leaks. These helped extend the use of our pre-folds without the bulk of literally doubling them. Now that we've graduated to one-size pockets, we can still use these as inserts for extra absorption. We got the large size (mostly because the small were out of stock) and they're too big for GMD newborn pre-folds, but fit perfectly in the Osocozy Better Fit infant size (purple stitch).
