100% cotton birdseye diapers. "One-Size" means one-size fits all and this size is also called "Small". They are the same and they go by both names. But please don't think that "small" means that it gets outgrown like size small covers do, for example. This small means that it fits birth to potty learning, or is a one-size fits all size.

We also have a special larger size called size Large. Size large shrinks to about 31x31 inches after washing and are 33x35 inches before washing. The "size large" is a specialty size and is not commonly needed and only sometimes available.

The "One-Size", also called "Small", is generously sized and is good birth to potty learning. Our "one-size" size is not very small at all!

In fact, our "one-size" is larger than some other brands size large. But our size Large is good if you happen to like doing the origami fold on an older baby but the one-size are good for most other folds on any baby of any age. I think the size large is too much diaper for a newborn and it can be unwieldy to fold. "One-size" also called "Small" is really a great size. Most will be happy with the "one-size" size from birth to potty learning.

You can add the Size Half birdseye to it when you need more absorbency or when baby is older you can double diaper. Now, birdseye is a variable fabric and they will never be perfect squares consistently with any brand due to the nature of the fabric, but these are usually reasonably square which does help make folding easier and we strive to make them as square as we possibly can. While these are not expensive at all, they truly are better than other brands for both fabric quality and squareness. I hope you love them as much as I do. They are very nice, high quality cotton birdseye weave. Easy-washing, real 100% cotton. Made in Pakistan.  Flats don't get diaper stink. You don't need to strip your diapers when you use flats becuase they really do wash up nicely and easily.

I have tried most types

I have tried most types of diapers and have found flats to be my all time favorite. Out of the flats I've tried, these are hands down the best. They're thin, versatile, soft, and absorbant. I love that depending on the needs of my child (which change and fluxuate over time) I can always find a solution with these diapers! Even if these weren't the most economical option, I would still choose these diapers.

Look no further, GMD LARGE flats are awesome!

I wish I had purchased these sooner! Rashes and stink are no longer a part of everyday life in our home! I've been cloth diapering on and off for the last 15 years and would usually give up because of rashes or stink issues. I finally bit the bullet and ordered these after my two babies, ages 1 and 3, were getting nasty rashes from disposables that wouldn't go away. I prepped the flats as instructed by GMD before starting to use them. I can't believe how wonderfully these wash up! They are sooooo soft and super absorbent! After prepping, I eagerly started using them full time on my babies. Within a week both of their rashes have completely healed which makes for much happier babies! Loving it!! I'm using the modified kite fold, a diaper pin in the center and alternate between Motherease Airflow covers and Dappi Nylon pull on covers. I currently wash with Tide every morning in my top loader and haven't encountered stink issues yet. The flats do indeed wash and dry into a beautiful square! Baby #12 is due in 2 weeks and I'm really looking forward to using all the half flats I ordered from GMD on him!

Large Organic Birdseye Flats

These flats are huge! I use the origami fold on my 3 month old who is about 14lbs. There is plenty of room for him to grow into them which is exactly why I bought the size Large. They are so soft and of great quality. I am excited to try the birdseye wipes soon!

Our favorite diapers!

We run a mission school in Guyana and when we moved here three years ago my son was still in diapers. Trash services being nonexistent, I knew we would need to use cloth, so I researched and talked with Karen, and decided on flats. These organic Birdseye flats are wonderful! We have to line-dry clothes, and these dry quickly even in our high humidity here in the jungle. The size half work perfectly as doublers with the size large when using origami fold (almost all I do--it's so much better at preventing leaks and shifting!) I haven't used the organic one-size, but looking at the measurements I think they would fit with the half, too--the regular unbleached flats were a little too small. Anyway, we used these under both PUL covers and wool, and they were perfect for us. They are very soft and clean beautifully. I now use all my unbleached ones as towels and the organics are waiting for baby #2 in a few months. I know some people really like the super trim modern microfiber diapers, but I found flats, even with doublers, to be plenty trim-fitting, because with origami fold all the bulk is right in the middle and the beautiful cotton NEVER gets that awful stink that the microfiber inserts do. You won't regret using these flats! Even if we get out of the jungle someday, this is still what I'll choose!

Best Birdseye flats available!

After trying a variety of cloth diapers, various brands etc, GMD is the best! I wish I had found them in the beginning because it's all I have and the best quality. These Organic Birdseye flats make up over 90% of my stash. With the rest being organic workhorses lol I cannot say enough good things about GMD flats; best quality, absorbent yet trim, wash so nice! And even compared to another company's large organic Birdseye flat, these hold more! Just feel nicer than anyone else's!
