Cloth-eez® Workhorse™ diapers are made of wonderful 100% cotton prefold diaper fabric in fitted diaper shape with a built in flap style doubler. Newborn and small have 6 layers in the flap and medium and up have 8 layer flaps, which is age-appropriate layering.Did you ever wish your lovely prefolds were shaped like a fitted? There is no better diapering fabric than the cotton prefold fabric. It washes so easily and wears so well. No polyester stink, no repelling, no special detergents are needed for 100% cotton diapers. The flap style doubler is sewn inside in the back only for quick drying. See pictures on a baby here. Designed by Karen and made exclusively for Green Mountain Diapers. I love cotton diapers, especially prefolds, but sometimes a fitted style is preferred. This is an economy fitted with great low price and no confusing adjustments which create additional bumps and lumpy places. It's not fancy but it does the job really well at a great price. Sized diapers fit better than "one-size-fits-all" diapers because young babies are little and older babies are bigger. Yup, that's true. We made the wings a little longer on the no-closure version to give you more fabric to use for pinning or fastening them but the rise is the same for both versions. Consider baby's shape when choosing size. Wide, round "booty" shapes will need to size-up sooner than narrow, flat-bottom shapes, who will stay in a smaller size longer. Very fast growing newborns can skip size small and go from Newborn to Medium. The cotton used to make the diapers was grown organically. They are made of organic cotton. 100% cotton exclusive of trim. Made in Pakistan.

Go to the same thing in white: white cotton Workhorse diaper no closure.

also available in Cloth-eez Workhorse Organic SNAP version.

Note: This is a diaper. It requires a cover (sold separately).

One FREE pair of pins is included with purchase of the no-closure version. That means one free pair per order, not per diaper. You re-use the same pair of pins over and over again. If you need more pins or other fasteners, see fasteners.

Ditch the synthetics and simplify your wash routine with cotton in a size that actually fits your baby.
Customize the fit with the snapless no-closure version for perfect containment and comfort.

This is a diaper which means it is the absorbent part. Use a diaper cover over this diaper, which is not included.

Please wash several times before first use. The white version needs a few cycles before first use. The organic unbleached version needs quite a few preparation cycles to wash off the natural cotton oils before full absorbency is reached. This "prepping" (4 or more wash cycles) is a one-time thing. Link to more washing information.

100% cotton, exclusive of trim. Edge thread and tag are nylon or polyester.

Pleased

I’m happy with these diapers. They do take several washes to prep. However, if I could change something, I would have the flap sewn in the front to give more flexibility (folding) for boys. My 3 month old saturates these in two hours, so they won’t be the true work horses I hoped. They do wash well and are so soft and comfy. Truly wish I had these when diapering my twin girls. They would have been our number one diaper.

If you suck at folding prefolds, buy these!

So I was using prefolds and thought I would give this a try. I didn't expect to love it, but wow they're amazing. Trim fit, fits my baby really well around the legs and I don't have to fold (which I'm really bad at). I will try the ones without snaps next.

Amazing

The non-closure is perfect for adding bulk and for skinny babies. The design of this diaper is wonderful. I use this overnight with a cotton doubler and a hemp doubler and sometimes don't have to change my son. I even leave it without a cover (most nights he doesn't soak through it.) Very breathable and so absorbant. Wish I had bought only these and flats

Great Buy!

I love these green mountain diapers we first started off with the starter kit and added on a few more from there and then we she grew out of her new born cloth diapers I purchased 12 of the size 2 diapers and they fitted perfectly with plenty of room to grow, they are super absorbent and easy to clean. The prep work was simple and best part she doesn’t get diaper rash. I use these at night for the most part and use Prefolds during the day.

Purchased as a Sample

Not sure what our plan is yet for cloth diapering, so I was just shopping around for some ‘sample’ items to compare. Baby isn’t here yet, so I haven’t gotten to use it, but at this point would give full stars for being true to description. I went ahead and washed it a couple of times and all seems well. This diaper is well made and straight forward in its use (no folding/fiddling). Easy enough to figure out with a snappi. Seems like a great option!
