Made of Oeko Tex 100 certified merino interlock wool. Similar to the Babee Greens Classic but now in a wrap style! The snaps are reinforced with a small section of hidden cotton between the two layers of wool so the snaps stay strong over the life of the cover. The wool is jersey knit so it is stretchy and since it's merino, it is soft and comfy. Don't size up. This is a roomy cover. The size large will be wonderful on older toddlers or preschoolers. When it is time to wash it, please wash by hand in a proper wool wash to keep it soft and in shape. Made in the USA.
Small on a 12 pound 4 month old. It is big on her now but it works very well and there is a lot of growing room in this. Small will fit over a medium Workhorse diaper. Shown on baby over a size small Workhorse.

Washing instructions: Wash by hand using a gentle wool wash such as Eucalan or a gentle bar soap such as Olive Oil Soap. Do not use Unicorn Beyond Clean on Babee Greens wool. Detailed instructions are provided here on our website and on the Wool Page which is included with your order.

This wool cover is so easy to put on/take off. When it does get stained it is easily spot washed and then I just lay it in my window to get sun and the stain bleaches off like magic! I love that the wool doesnt get wet, but has a moist feel when baby gets wet. It's simple to know when she needs a change! Highly recommend, I ended up getting 3 smalls and use them almost exclusively now (3 month old, been using over 2 months). This size will fit for a few more months to come I think! Side note - the pull on wool covers were a hassle to get on and off - a real struggle when your changing A TON of newborn diapers.
My son has grown from an average newborn into a thick-thighed scooter, and the Disana covers he's worn since birth were getting tight around the legs before getting snug anywhere else. I sent in my question about wool covers for his body type and was pointed toward this and the classic cover. I'm so happy with them! Unlike the Disana pull on covers, it takes a lot to make the Babee Greens feel damp. A breeze to clean with Euclan, they are my top recommendation for anyone hesitant to move away from PUL covers to wool. The wrap style fits just like my Thirsties duos (no Daddy training required) and the classic style had two sets of snaps for babes whose legs and waists are not the same size. The only downside vs PUL is wool does take a while to dry, hence why I quickly took my mother up on her offer to gift us a couple extra covers. Rolling between two towels after wash reduces dry time. If you get a stinky poo, you will want to air the cover out a little longer than usual (no need to wash unless visibly soiled). They say you don't NEED to lanolize these, but I wanted to make them even more bullet proof, so I did. If you buy the wrap and classic, be aware that sizing is different between them...use your babe's weight to choose the right size.
We've been struggling with rashes on my little one so we are transitioning to flats with wool covers. These are fabulous! So, so soft, they breathe well, dried very quickly (I live in the desert in AZ) and so far no rash and didn't leak! I ordered large since another reviewer said her chunky thigh baby outgrew the medium at 7 months, but the larges are huge, so I'm back to order mediums! We'll keep these for night time and when she's older!
