award winning natural diaper See this on a baby

Cloth-eez® Workhorse™ diapers are made of wonderful 100% cotton prefold diaper fabric in fitted diaper shape with a built in flap style doubler. Newborn and small have 6 layers in the flap and medium and up have 8 layer flaps, which is age-appropriate layering.Did you ever wish your lovely prefolds were shaped like a fitted? There is no better diapering fabric than the cotton prefold fabric. It washes so easily and wears so well. No polyester stink, no repelling, no special detergents are needed for 100% cotton diapers. The flap style doubler is sewn inside in the back only for quick drying. See pictures on a baby here. Designed by Karen and made exclusively for Green Mountain Diapers. I love cotton diapers, especially prefolds, but sometimes a fitted style is preferred. This is an economy fitted with great low price and no confusing adjustments which create additional bumps and lumpy places. It's not fancy but it does the job really well at a great price. Sized diapers fit better than "one-size-fits-all" diapers because young babies are little and older babies are bigger. Yup, that's true. We made the wings a little longer on the no-closure version to give you more fabric to use for pinning or fastening them but the rise is the same for both versions. Consider baby's shape when choosing size. Wide, round "booty" shapes will need to size-up sooner than narrow, flat-bottom shapes, who will stay in a smaller size longer. Very fast growing newborns can skip size small and go from Newborn to Medium. 100% cotton exclusive of trim. Made in Pakistan.

Go to the same thing in white: white cotton Workhorse diaper no closure.

also available in Cloth-eez Workhorse Organic SNAP version.

Note: This is a diaper. It requires a cover (sold separately).

One FREE pair of pins is included with purchase of the no-closure version. That means one free pair per order, not per diaper. You re-use the same pair of pins over and over again. If you need more pins or other fasteners, see fasteners.

Ditch the synthetics and simplify your wash routine with cotton in a size that actually fits your baby.
Customize the fit with the no-closure version for perfect containment and comfort.

This is a diaper which means it is the absorbent part. Use a diaper cover over this diaper, which is not included.

Please wash several times before first use. The white version needs a few cycles before first use. The organic unbleached version needs quite a few preparation cycles to wash off the natural cotton oils before full absorbency is reached. This "prepping" (4 or more wash cycles) is a one-time thing. Link to more washing information.

100% cotton, exclusive of trim. Edge thread and tag are nylon or polyester.

Husband approved!

My husband and I love these diapers! For our first child we used the prefolds which are also great, but as he got older my husband began to get frustrated with the pins so we ordered the xtra large fitted diapers (he was a big boy) and now these are all he wants to use, so when we found out I was pregnant again, he was emphatic about getting the fitted for newborns. The diapers have held up great (Im always reading abiut other diapers losing their elasticity quickly, but we have been using these for a year with absolutely no problem with the elastic or the snaps. Best of all, they are easy to care for. Highly recommend!!!

Love them!

These are my favorite diapers to grab for at diaper changes. I had initially bought two before my baby was born to try out as I've never cloth diapered before. My husband and I loved these so much that we bought four more since my son was born in his current size and a few in the next size up! The best thing about these diapers is that they have no closures so the fit is totally customizable and you're not limited by snap placement. We use snappis and they work great. We are always sad when all of our workhorse fitteds are dirty we have to wait until next diaper laundry day. We will definitely be buying more of these as he grows to different sizes. Highly recommended!

Love our workhorses!

These diapers are so absorbant, they last through the night (11 hours) for our 4.5 month old 16 lb baby.

Daytime use

I love these and how trim they fit on my toddlers. However, at first I was using them during the day as well as night-time with added doublers which was working except for one major problem. It would affect the fitted elastic around the leg since I was putting a nighttime staydry liner inside for more absorbency. I have the snapless kind, but still couldn’t get a better fit around the leg due to volume of stuffing. If my baby just pees, it’s not a problem, both of my mine are notorious for pooping first thing in the morning and not once did the diaper contain it. (My kids have never seemed to have ploppables...I have cloth diapered various ways for my 7 kids from the beginning). Which also means, I’m washing poo out of a night-time wool cover every morning x2. Gets really old. The absorbency is there for night time but it got to be too messy and too much hassle due to lack of containment. But we love them for day time or outings! Currently for nighttime, it seems similar bulk (with a wider bottom) as the xl stuffed workhorse, but much more absorbent and much better containment is a xl prefold with a small Sherpa prefold diaper pad-folded inside the xl prefold, with a wool cover. This holds a LOT more liquid and has a fuller bum to catch more for those morning gifts. This also makes it much easier to wash and get all the urine out. I also think my babes are much more physically comfortable with this set up as well. I still pre-rinse these prior to putting them in the pail since they are quite strong. This set up is currently working for my 3.5 year old and 1.5 year old.
