In a size just for newborn babies, this is an all-in-one diaper (AIO). This means that the diaper cover part (waterproof outer) is sewn together into one piece with the diaper part (absorbent part). It goes on in one simple step - cloth diapering doesn't get easier. Interior consists of 8 thirsty layers of natural fibers - 2 layers of organic cotton in the body and 6 layers of hemp/organic cotton in the soaker pads. Snap closure version offers umbilical cord snap down which may be used while cord stump is present or belly button is healing. This diaper is convenient, trim fitting and absorbent. It has gentle elastic around legs and waist to provide protection against leaks. (Note from Karen: The elastic is actually gentle, unlike some others that are so tight that I can't think that the overly tight elastics could possibly be comfortable for baby. This elastic is just right - tight enough to work but soft and stretchy enough for comfort.). Sized specifically with the needs and comfort of a new baby in mind.
Available with hook and loop or snap closure. This page has the snap closure version.

When my baby was born at 8 lbs these were my favorite! Now that he's chunking up and already 10 lbs these are not going to last much longer with the way he carries his weight but I do think for most newborns these are awesome.
These diapers are amazing and convenient! Super easy for middle of the night changes. They are good at containing the poo. I debated buying them at first because how long are newborn diapers going to fit? But our baby was born weighing under 6 lbs, so we will get plenty of wear out of them! I purchased 6 to start out with and because I liked them so much, got another 6!
Unfortunately, this diaper leaks badly. We certainly do not use it for long periods of time or especially over night. As soon as our little one pees, the diaper leaks.
Before my baby arrived we weren’t sure what diapers were going to work best for my husband and I so we got a few different kinds. Both my husband and I agreed that these were our favorite and bought more! They fit our tiny guy from the day we got home (he was just under 6lbs) and a month later we are still on the lowest rise. They’re trim but plenty absorbent. For longer stretches we fold the bottom layer up for more absobancy in front and If you want to boost them more you can just add a cloth wipe. They wash really well too!
