Soft and lovely boiled organic fine merino wool outside. Soft organic cotton inside. Warmth and comfort. The warmth of boiled wool is not at all like sweaty polyester. Wool breathes and regulates body temperature. I am convinced that my babies sleep better in wool and natural fibers, perhaps because they are neither too hot nor too cold in it. This really does have that Goldilocks effect of "just right". There is something amazing and superior about merino wool. The organic cotton lining inside is soft, too. This is not intended as a diaper cover. It is clothing.

Don't confuse this with thin, lightweight wool sacks.  This is boiled wool - which is much more substantial and weighs more because it contains a lot of wool.  The weight is just right for both warmth, breathability and a feeling of security. Babies really do soothe easily in wool!

The front zipper opens up all the way for easy access to baby. This new stock version has a new added detail which is cotton at the top covering the zipper. Please note that the pictures, except for the grey picture, don't show this zipper cover near the chin but ALL of our stock does have this nice added feature. The top of the zipper is very well covered by organic cotton, which makes good sense. Handwash only. Made in Germany.

The pictures don't do this justice. It is much nicer than it looks in the pictures. This grey one is the smaller size.

Warm boiled wool on the outside, extra-fine organic cotton on the inside. Our boiled wool Disana sleeping bag combines the best of both natural fibers. The outside, made of soft new boiled Merino wool, provides plenty of warmth without overheating. Wool is very good at balancing out the temperature; you are never too warm or too cold wearing it. An extra fine organic cotton lining on the inside allows the child to sleep in peace. Thanks to the long zip the front of the sleeping bag can be opened wide. This makes it easier to place your child inside when she is asleep. A priceless advantage for little ones after a long day of adventures, play and discovery.

Love these!

My second sack! I love it!! The orange is so pretty. So soft. So wonderful. Just as I expected. However, I learned that even when washing my first sack exactly how described in the paperwork and videos, I dried my sack near my fireplace, as we do all laundry, but perhaps the heat was too much (??), and my first sack shrank so small (four inches in length), So this one I’m nervous to even clean at all. With that said, wool has its learning curve since I really didn’t have the sack very close to the heat, and you have to hang it to dry, but if it takes too long to dry the cotton can get sour smelling. That was rather disappointing for such a large price tag. Once again, an excellent sack. Just beautiful.

LOve it already!

I just received this today, and our foster baby has taken two naps in it! I was so excited to receive the item, and it truly is so so soft, and I love the weight of it, and if it was big enough I’m sure I’d sleep in it myself. I hope it helps him rest and have some peace. God bless you for selling these!

Beautiful color and amazing weight

We’ve only been using the sleeping bags for a couple of nights but I love them already. The wool is so soft and the perfect weight. I love that my baby has plenty of room to grow but it isn’t too big around his neck either. He is 4 and a half months old and in the 80th percentile for height, 65th percentile for weight. We are in a warm climate with cool nights but I don’t worry about him overheating or not being warm enough. I know I’ll be able to use these for years and pass down to our next baby!

High quality

Very high quality, durable, and beautiful colors (I bought gray and pink). Very difficult to find organic cotton and wool from organic farming elsewhere, worth the investment and keeps baby warm without overheating.

Overall would recommend

Bought this for my first babe, but he didn't really use it because he bedshared with us. Second babe is a crib baby and he has worn it every night since he was 5 months (he's just about to turn one and I have the size two). He's worn it in the cold of winter and now as it continues to get warm. The zipper at the top on one side is coming apart at the seam, probably because when baby wakes we grab him and then unzip it with one hand while holding him on my hip. Probably not meant for that sort of pressure. In terms of keeping babes temp regulated this is the perfect sleep sack!
