Cloth-eez® Workhorse™ diapers are made of wonderful 100% cotton prefold diaper fabric in fitted diaper shape with a built in flap style doubler. Newborn and small have 6 layers in the flap and medium and up have 8 layer flaps, which is age-appropriate layering.Did you ever wish your lovely prefolds were shaped like a fitted? There is no better diapering fabric than the cotton prefold fabric. It washes so easily and wears so well. No polyester stink, no repelling, no special detergents are needed for 100% cotton diapers. The flap style doubler is sewn inside in the back only for quick drying. See pictures on a baby here. Designed by Karen and made exclusively for Green Mountain Diapers. I love cotton diapers, especially prefolds, but sometimes a fitted style is preferred. This is an economy fitted with great low price and no confusing adjustments which create additional bumps and lumpy places. It's not fancy but it does the job really well at a great price. Sized diapers fit better than "one-size-fits-all" diapers because young babies are little and older babies are bigger. Yup, that's true. We made the wings a little longer on the no-closure version to give you more fabric to use for pinning or fastening them but the rise is the same for both versions. Consider baby's shape when choosing size. Wide, round "booty" shapes will need to size-up sooner than narrow, flat-bottom shapes, who will stay in a smaller size longer. Very fast growing newborns can skip size small and go from Newborn to Medium. They are made of organic unbleached cotton. 100% cotton exclusive of trim. Made in Pakistan.

Also available in Cloth-eez Workhorse Organic SNAP version.

Note: This is a diaper. It requires a cover (sold separately).

One FREE pair of pins is included with purchase of the no-closure version. That means one free pair per order, not per diaper. You re-use the same pair of pins over and over again. If you need more pins or other fasteners, see fasteners.

Ditch the synthetics and simplify your wash routine with cotton in a size that actually fits your baby.
Customize the fit with the snapless no-closure version for perfect containment and comfort.

This is a diaper which means it is the absorbent part. Use a diaper cover over this diaper, which is not included.

Please wash several times before first use. The white version needs a few cycles before first use. The organic unbleached version needs quite a few preparation cycles to wash off the natural cotton oils before full absorbency is reached. This "prepping" (4 or more wash cycles) is a one-time thing. Link to more washing information.

The body is made of organic cotton. 100% cotton exclusive of trim. Made in Pakistan.  Standard elastic at legs and waist which may contain latex.  Edge thread and tag are nylon or polyester.

I have experimented with several different kinds of cloth diapers, and these are my favorite!! Very absorbent (no need to worry about adjusting absorbency) and no folding! :-) Now that I have two kids I have less time to fuss with things like folding and changing the diaper insert depending on my child's stage. These allow me to continue to cloth diaper while spending less time dealing with laundry and leaks.

Easy and effective

This fitted diaper is awesome and I wish it were my whole stash. We haven’t had a single leak. It’s easy easy easy to use. It washes well and doesn’t take 100 years to dry. It was especially great when baby was tiny and the pocket diapers I bought still had leg gaps.

These are great!

We used cotton and cotton/bamboo prefolds with a snappi and cover at home, but with my six month old daughter starting day care, I didn't want to ask the teachers there to deal with prefolds and snappis but I wanted to use cloth diapers at day care. I tried out AIOs (both thristies and rumaprooz) but I didn't like them. They tended to leak and the synthetic material tended to give my daughter diaper rash. I also tried the thirsties fitted diaper, which was super expensive, and it didn't seem absorbent at all compared to regular prefolds. Then I saw these fitted diapers and decided to try them out, and am very glad I did! They are very absorbent, easy to use (at least daycare hasn't complained about them), and like prefolds, we haven't had a diaper rash problem with them. They are so convenient, we started using them at home instead of prefolds! For sizing, I started off getting one large (brown edge) and one Xlarge (green edge) of these. My daughter is long (at six months old she is 2'3") and the large fit her perfectly. But I ended up getting going with the xlarge so they'll last longer. The xlarge still does the job, but is just bulkier, which I am okay with, and my daughter seems ok with it too. Very happy with these.

Good absorption, tabs just a little short

I probably could have sized down with these because my guy is slim, but I wanted to leave room for him to grow into them. What I have found is that the absorption is great, I definitely stuff this with 4 cotton doublers at night (2-3 during the day) because he is such a heavy soaker. I do wish the snap tabs were a bit longer but maybe that's because I am so used the customizability of cross over tab design. All in all I really like these diapers and am thankful to have them as an option in my stash (for reference I use these and the hemp/cotton baber greens which I have found work the best with my super soaker toddler). They are super soft and on the bulkier side so work well with the disana diaper covers. Dare I use the word cuddly to describe the way a diaper feels? I'd say they're a great investment when you prefer the very fitted sizes vs. the versatile OS of babee greens. Quality is fantastic and they do absorb a fair amount when used with doublers.

Thank you for your review. For a more custom fit we recommend the no closure Workhorse (snapless- only available in unbleached organic) which allow you to customize the fit with your own fasteners (pins, Snappi, or Boingo). The tabs are longer on the no closure version.
