The elastic is so soft and stretchy and the design is great. The "feel" of it is just right. I do think it is best at 4 or 5 months and up though. Like any "one-size" item, it's really quite big on a young baby.

Natural fibers inside, this one-size fits most all-in-one diaper is made in the USA. This easy-to-use cloth diaper includes 11 thirsty layers of natural fibers: 3 layers of organic cotton in the body and 2 soaker pads with 8 layers of the same hemp/organic cotton. As with all "one-size" items, they are really quite huge on brand new babies. I like them (all kinds of one-size things) starting after the newborn time, perhaps 11 pounds and up and choose newborn sized items for my brand new baby. Made in USA.

Care and Use:

Prewash on warm. Wash on hot. Add another rinse on warm. Hang to dry or dry in the dryer on low.

Outer – 100% polyester with waterproof TPU laminate. Inner Liner – 100% organic cotton. Inner Absorbency – 2 layers of 100% organic cotton. Inner Soakers – 8 layers of 55% hemp - 45% organic cotton

I like these

We have never cloth diapered, and these are easy. I was given some prefolds and covers, but I don’t love separating the prefold and then using the liner again. Just a preference to just grab the whole dirty diaper and stick it in a wet bag then wash later. Especially with two in diapers. They wash up well. I would partly dry in dryer and hang the rest of the way overnight over the heater vent in the winter or just hand over the heater vent and either way they were dry by morning. We have a wood stove now so I think they will dry even better in winter months. I have to say that the last part to dry is the part where all the layers are attached, but it’s not a huge deal. I would love to try newborn for my new baby who was born 6.5 lbs but I’m concerned he will grow out of them too fast, and it’ll be a waste of money to buy a bunch and use them a month or two, so I may just use disposables until he is a tad bigger. Cloth has been so so fun! I love the idea of cloth on my babies, and it just is more natural. Thank you for selling these!

Favorite All in one I’ve tried

Love the material and absorbency of this diaper!! It has held up really well in the wash so far too (other AIO’s I’ve tried have not).

New favorite

I have flats, blueberry aio and just bought my first thirsties aio. The thirsties are my favorite. I can tell they will fit for a long time. Longer than the blueberry aio. The elastic is so soft. They just seem comfortable for baby. Will be purchasing more!

Giving it a try

We’ve been using prefolds and fitteds exclusively since birth, but with the recent Thirsties sale and some struggles with figuring out an overnight setup, I purchased two NAIOs. My main confusion was how many washes to prep them (I think I ran 3 cycles and they seem to absorb alright). Our 5 month old son is small, around 14 lbs, and not a heavy wetter so we’ve got them on the shortest rise and tightest snaps. They are still a bit large and don’t have the double gusset like my favorite Cloth-eez covers, so we did have a minor poo leak after a trip in the car. But for overnights when he very rarely poos, they’ve been working well with a stay dry hemp [doubler]!

Green Mountain Diapers

Thank you for your review. Hopefully once your baby is bigger it will fit better and leak less. One-size diapers do not really fit newborns very well. You can use this with an 8 lb. baby, but it really fits best starting at around 4 months old as we explain in the description. Thirsties makes this diaper in a Newborn size for babies 5-14 lbs. for this very reason. Diapers that are not fitting properly will leak. Although it is a "one-size" diaper that basically means it is adjustable to fit most babies. But no diaper is really going to work perfectly on all size babies. "One size" diapers usually do not perform best at the lower and upper ends of the fit scale. You can find the newborn size here:
