Comparison of small and night versions.
This is the same as our Hemp Doubler, (three layers of 55% hemp, 45% organically grown cotton) but topped with a layer of virgin Malden Mills 200 weight polar fleece. Polar fleece allows the moisture to go through but maintains a drier feeling next to baby’s bottom, since fleece is hydrophobic (afraid of water). With quality polar fleece the argument that only disposables keep baby’s bottom feeling dry is simply not true. This washable synthetic really does keep baby’s bottom dry. More information and photos here.
For all of these sizes of stay-dry doublers, the BLUE edge stitch side is the side that has the stay dry fabric. The blue edge stitch side goes next to baby. Think "b" is for blue is for baby.
Made in the USA from domestic and imported materials.
These are great for nighttime. I put a cotton doubler underneath she feels dry and wears all night with no rash
Bought these in anticipation that my 5 month old would start sleeping longer. They are large- but it says that in the description! Bulky, but worked great.
This overnight doubler has been a lifesaver for me. I have two very heavy wetting sons and struggled to find a night diaper option that would keep them dry. I put this doubler inside the Grovia ONE diaper for super absorbency. My 10 month old wakes up dry after 13 hours! For my older son I combined this doubler with the Sbish hemp fitted and the DIsana wool cover. He would wake up dry as well. This is one doubler that everyone should have in their stash.
I doesn’t fit correctly and it did not keep my 5 month old dry. He was soaked within a few hours
Thank you for your review. We see the diapers ordered along with the Night Stay Dry Doublers were size Small. At 5 months most babies have outgrown size Small prefolds, and especially at night they just aren't big enough to have enough absorbency or room for a Night Stay Dry Doubler. These are a bit too large to work on a baby still in size Small diapers. Possibly baby needs a bigger size diaper for the absorbency needed; doublers are just to add to the absorbency diaper is already providing, for times like night when extra is needed. They are big; if baby is in size Small prefolds we recommend size Small doublers or even size Long doublers, but the Night Shaped size won't fit properly until baby is in size Medium diapers. These should work well when baby is bigger, but remember that these are only doublers, not diapers. they are intended to be put inside a diaper to boost absorbency. I've ordered many of these and I can't say enough how great they are. The hourglass shape vs long skinny rectangle is aaall the difference. More surface, more absorbent. Wish there were contour shaped options for all inserts and doublers.
