Two full layers! Stretchy fabric made of two layers of 92% cotton and 8% Spandex.  The Spandex gives this fabric a soft stretch.  When using it as a diaper it has easy stretch is less binding when you want to achieve a snug fit, yet still have baby feel comfy and able move. 280 gsm. This is what the former Pre-Flats were made of.

Absorber - size 12" x 12"  This booster is like a doubler. It is added to a medium or larger diaper to boost absorbency when needed.  It can also be used as a newborn diaper or for other absorbency needs or as a soft burp cloth.  Two layers.

As an Insert -  Use as a trim, flat absorbency in a pocket diaper. Great absorbency for such a low price! (Doing the math, this absorber is equal in absorbency to 2 Cloth-eez Inserts size small green edge which go for $4.50 for the two inserts - so this is less expensive and lays flatter)

As a newborn diaper - This is larger than a newborn orange edge prefold but smaller than a small or novice prefold. Absorbency is the same as a newborn orange edge prefold but this is flatter thus slightly trimmer. Prefolds are woven fabric where as this is a knit fabric. Fits birth to about 11 pounds. 

Under-the-Bum Changing Pad  Great under baby's bottom at the changing table.  Thick enough so that soil doesn't go right through it.  

Versatile, soft fabric for a variety of uses.  Use as a burp cloth, anyplace you want a small, soft, smooth absorbent fabric that is not as big as a receiving blanket but bigger than a cotton baby wipe.  Gentle on baby's face when drooling happens. There are other personal female uses that you can probably think of or some creative sewing projects for some nice knit fabric. Great in the kitchen, too!

Stuff a pocket diaper or use it as a substantial doubler for a toddler or older baby. Place in between two pairs of underwear for potty learning absorbency.  

No dyes.  No bamboo. No optical brighteners in the fabric.  It does have 8% Spandex. 92% cotton.  This is the only Cloth-eez absorbency item that is not 100% cotton.  If you want stretchy that is durable, Spandex works to achieve this.  Spandex is not a natural fiber.  Spandex contains latex. Stick with 100% cotton diapers that have no elastic at all if you suspect a latex allergy.  

Machine wash/dry.  Made in Pakistan.

The soft satin tag is sewn at the back waist. Once you own something, you are free to remove the tag if you choose to.  If the tag is removed, it is completely reversible. 

When using this as a newborn diaper, Snappi Fasteners are usually better than pins with these because they are knit.  Knits are harder to fasten than wovens and are more prone to getting little holes from pins. Wovens (prefolds, muslin and birdseye fabrics are woven) don't typically get holes from pins over time and pins slide through more easily and Snappis grip better on wovens. Knits and wovens are different things.  Knits have stretch but wovens don't stretch.  Many people choose to use pins with knit preflats and it works. Holes from fasteners aren't covered by warranty.  Knits are knits.  Everything has tradeoffs.  If you want stretch then you want a knit fabric.  Wovens can't stretch like knits can.   

This is the same fabric that the now-discontinued PreFlats were made of.  This was the Newborn size of the "PreFlats" called "Absorber". Size One and Size Two PreFlats have permanently sold out. We left the reviews of the PreFlats visible below since many reviews discuss the fabric.
