Rags by the dozen - back in stock!

Prefolds for use as rags. These are not good enough to sell as second quality diapers, so we have them available to use as cleaning rags. They are wonderfully absorbent and strong. All have defects. Some possible issues are stains, stitching defects and small holes. Sizes vary. White prefolds can be used as rags after one wash. Unbleached prefolds will need several hot cycles before they can absorb or clean well because unbleached cotton still has the natural cotton oil which repels water until it has been washed off. Unbleached prefold rags, therefore, are less expensive than white ones here. Tags have been removed and these are not intended to be used as diapers. Other discounts do not apply. Final sale.

Smaller rags - can be Newbie, Preemie, Newborn, Novice or Small prefolds. Usually a combination.  Approximately 9 to 13.5 inches long, layering varies 2-6-2 ply, 2-6-4 ply or 4-8-4 ply.

Larger rags - can be Intermediate, Medium, Large or XL prefolds. Usually a combination.  Approximately 14 to 19 inches long, layering varies either 4-6-4 ply or 4-8-4 ply.

Unlike economy terry cloth shop towels, these are sturdy and don't fall apart in the dryer and clog up the lint screen like those cheap terry cloth ones do.  These are made of true Cloth-eez Prefold Diaper fabric, which has been known for decades as the best prefold diaper on the market.  If website shows out of stock, please feel free to contact us to check on availability. 

Even though these are "third quality" because of issues, the actual fabric they are made of is still the good, strong woven prefold diaper fabric. 100% cotton, exclusive of trim.   Oeko-tex certified cotton which means it doesn't have harmful chemicals.
