Definition: The diaper is the absorbent part and the cover is the waterproof part that goes over the diaper.
This kit is for those who want to give cloth diapering a try. You might decide that buying 2, 3 or 4 of these kits might make sense. The newborn diapers will get usually get outgrown between 6-8 weeks old but the covers will still fit over size small Workhorse and size small prefolds, too. The wipes keep on going. The picture shows the items after washing.
This kit includes:
What is that fluffy wool background? It's a Snugglewool Pad.
She's a lanky/lean 6 lbs So we're using green mountain newborn prefolds for now (getting a more precise fit w/ pins) but can't wait for her to grow into these because getting them on her was easy & I can tell we'll like them once they fit more snugly.
I haven’t used them yet (so I’ll update in May or so). What I can tell so far: very well made, SO soft, love the gussetting o the covers, the thickness of the fitted is comforting but not too bulky and I like being able to try out quality wipes. I’ll update in February or so about any shrinkage or change to texture (I doubt it will happen) after I complete the recommended washes. Thank you so much for including the washing sheet. Super helpful!
I was so surprised at how quickly these came! They were easy to prep and seem very simple to use. I really appreciated being able to just buy a kit; cloth diapering can be overwhelming.
The Newborn Give It A Try Kit (with snaps) has been very useful. My daughter was born at 32 weeks gestation and we began using these diapers once she was about full term. They’re pretty snug and contain all of those messy poop diapers INSIDE rather than on her clothes. This would be a great gift for a new parent who is interested in cloth diapering. I’m very pleased with the quality of this product!
These diapers are the favorites among my conscious Family. Green Mountain Diapers has been pleasant, prompt and professional. I would recommend them to anyone.
