New edge colors and we now use organic white cotton. Yellow edge doublers now have orange edges. Former white edge doublers now have grey edges.
The same lovely prefold fabric as our beloved Cloth-eez® prefolds in a doubler sizes. Chlorine-free, optical brightener-free organic white cotton. White cotton is easier to prep than unbleached cotton. Both sizes are 8 layers (8-ply) of 100% cotton. I love the prefold fabric because it's so soft and pliable. It is quilty just like prefolds are so they come out of the dryer curly and need to be flattened out by hand a bit. Regular top load machines curl them less than HE machines do. This is the nature of the twill prefold fabric. I like to match fabrics. This prefold fabric washes very easily and doesn't hold stink because it is 100% cotton. And best of of all, they are very inexpensive. Doublers add additional absorbency in any style diaper. They absorb immediately and are "quick absorbers." You can fit the size small into any size Workhorse diaper or any diaper. Doublers are similar but not the same as inserts Inserts are wider. For pocket diaper inserts we have them here. 100% organic cotton exclusive of trim. Made in the Pakistan.
Both this organic white version and the made of unbleached organic version shown after washing
A cotton doubler is such a simple thing that makes such a big difference in stopping leaks.

So far I am very happy with these doublers. They are simple to wash and dry and so far I don’t have any stains even though my baby has pooped several times. So far I have used them in a fitted diaper that I got from my Mom who used to cloth diaper. The diaper didn’t have a built in insert so I am glad I got the doublers. From what I can tell the diaper with one doubler soaks up the same amount at the workhorse fitted diaper. I am new to cloth diapering so I don’t know how well they will work later on but so far so good. They are kind of thin but maybe that will be a good thing as my baby gets older.
I took GMD’s advice and tried the cotton doublers after previously buying the hemp doublers. Yes the hemp doublers are great, but I wanted more doublers for less money. I use them with a prefold at night. A great way to make the diaper last through the night without adding too much bulk! They seem to absorb about the same amount as the hemp and with my laundry situation come clean a little better. A great product!
Plan on using these for post partum pads with my gladrags. Also use for doubling with diapers and the small size works just fine when absorbing in my 2 yr old boys diapers. I suspect with a toddler girl I would want the larger size since the soaking placement is different with them. These and the babee greens hemp/cotton mix doublers are a match made in heaven!
