New edge colors and we now use organic white cotton. Yellow edge doublers now have orange edges. Former white edge doublers now have grey edges.
The same lovely prefold fabric as our beloved Cloth-eez® prefolds in a doubler sizes. Chlorine-free, optical brightener-free organic white cotton. White cotton is easier to prep than unbleached cotton. Both sizes are 8 layers (8-ply) of 100% cotton. I love the prefold fabric because it's so soft and pliable. It is quilty just like prefolds are so they come out of the dryer curly and need to be flattened out by hand a bit. Regular top load machines curl them less than HE machines do. This is the nature of the twill prefold fabric. I like to match fabrics. This prefold fabric washes very easily and doesn't hold stink because it is 100% cotton. And best of of all, they are very inexpensive. Doublers add additional absorbency in any style diaper. You can fit the size small into any size Workhorse diaper or any diaper. Not the same as inserts. For pocket diaper inserts we have them here. 100% cotton exclusive of trim. Made in the Pakistan.
Both this organic white version and the made of unbleached organic version shown after washing
A cotton doubler is such a simple thing that makes such a big difference in stopping leaks.

These work just as expected. I have to use 3-4 with the workhorse fitters because my toddler is a super soaker but these doublers are powerful little soakers! I also discovered the small ones are the perfect size to fit in my cloth (glad rag) pads so I'll be using them postpartum to keep me comfy! I might soak some in sitz bath mixture and freeze for comfort if needed. I am addicted! Want to get some of the large size too.
I’ve been using flats with my son since he was an infant and he was starting to soak through them. These inserts are perfection. I’m confident we can make it until potty training with these!
These doublers work great. I put them with hemp for overnight in my pocket diapers. Super absorbent for how trim they are. If I put two of the doublers together, they work as day inserts for my 4 month old. My only complaint is the baconing effect. It takes a bit of extra time to flatten them out after they curl up in the dryer. I wish they were pre-shrunk before being sewn together, but they are perfect functionally!
I used cotton instead of gross disposables as mama cloths for years. I previously had a friend surge the pads for me, but thankfully GMD came out with the doublers. Paired with a wool liner, I have never had a leak. Sadly I had to have hysterectomy, but they have been perfect for that too for so many ways from liner to protect clothes to padding over the incision. I love that GMD products are so versatile.
