Eucalan Wool Wash for proper care of your wool covers and fine washables.
Stock Status: In stock. Usually ships the same or next business day.
Eucalan Wool Wash the most popular and inexpensive way to wash wool covers. It is also called Eucalan Delicate Wash. It restores some lanolin with each washing. Easy to use because it's easy to measure, unlike the soap, where you have to guess until you get a feel for how much to use. If you are machine washing a merino wool blanket, you need a liquid lanolin-enriched wool wash like this. In my 20 years of washing wools, Eucalan is the best overall of the many brands I, Karen, have tried. I don't trust my lovely wools to anything else. (One tea tree scented wash essentially ruined a wool blanket for me because the smell never goes away and it made it scratchy too. I'll stick with trusty Eucalan which keeps my wool soft and lovely.)
It's perfect for hand washing your wool covers. Some customers say they never relanolize when they use Eucalan, but it is possible that extra lanolin could be needed, but it depends on the wool and personal preference. This is far superior to grocery store wool washes, which strip the lanolin off the covers and cause them to leak. Please don't use those on your lovely wools. Use a proper wool wash such as Eucalan. Which scent to choose? That is personal preference mostly, except that the Eucalyptus is a natural moth and flea inhibitor, so if you have moths, get Eucalyptus. The scented versions are scented with pure and natural essential oils, not synthetic fragrance. The scents are very mild. Learn how to wash wool. Even more detailed and complete information is in the free GMD How To Booklet which you can request when you order.
Eucalan No Rinse Delicate Wash is non-toxic, biodegradable, free of optical brighteners, phosphates, synthetic fragrance and dye. Eucalan is pH neutral and is packaged in an easy to recycle, dye free HDPE plastic bottle. Scented varieties of Eucalan use only quality essential oils. The lanolin acts as a natural conditioner, keeping fibres supple and reducing static. Eucalan meets strict European regulations, it is "quickly" biodegradable.
Eucalan Ingredient List:
3.3 fl oz. Small
16.9 fl. oz. Large
0.17 fl. oz One-wash. If hand washing one or two wool covers, you'll probably get 2 washes from this little size. It is enough to get you started.
I’ve tried a few different wool washes and I can honestly say this stuff it the best! It may seem a little pricey but I use a fraction of what I’ve used in the past. I also used it as an emulsifier for my lanolin soak and it fully emulsified (and stayed that way the entire soak). It cleaned SO well and the wool is so soft. Some of the others I’ve tried turned the wool scratchy. A little goes a long way. I will definitely purchase again and recommend to everyone!!
I just love the light scent of the lavender wash. It is just right and isn’t too overpowering for baby.
Super simple to use and understand instructions. I got the 7oz and it’s perfect for atleast my 2 pairs of woolies for the next few months !
supported by a smooth, fragrant soap Thank you
