Using a pail liner decreases or eliminates the need to scrub out the inside of the pail. I never scrub out my pail, but I do put it in the sun to deodorize it occasionally. I think it is a good idea to put the pail outside in the sun once in a while if you can because UV rays really do freshen up the pail itself without any scrubbing at all.
Looking for a diaper pail? We don't sell them because any garbage pail without a lid or with a lid that is not airtight works well. Yes, I do mean NOT airtight. Airtight diaper storage is bad. The pail does need some air circulation.

I bought two of these to use with our paper towel alternatives. It’s the perfect size to hold four dozen of them. We don’t even need a pail as we used the little snap tab to attach it to a door knob.
I bought these for the bathroom waste basket. We use a bidet and cloth wipes to dry so this was perfect! I was a little skeptical at first because it says its a 4 gal size however, it fits a much smaller one as well so its versatile and makes our system simpler when wash day comes around. Definitely recommend.
I bought 2 in aqua and 2 in grey. I have 2 pails with lids from IKEA. One I keep in the nursery bathroom which is used solely for soiled diapers and wipes. The liner contains the mess and the lid contains the odor. Every 2 days I bring the liner to the washer without any leaks, mess or fuss. I use the other pail and liner for the poolside. I can throw both trash and recyclables in there and sort the trash out and rinse the recyclables later. It’s so convenient for us and guests rather than asking them to separate the trash I just do it afterwards. These are so easy to use, strong elastic on top and great seams to prevent leakage. I just throw them in the washer and let them air dry.
This pail liner has been great! Although I haven't actually used it in a pail yet.. Brought it with me on a trip from Oregon to Alaska and wrapped my pillow in it for the flight. Then used the strap to attach it to the handle on my backpack. Was great to have my pillow covered and then used it as an extra diaper bag while I was on vacation. Worked great!
