Why send free pins? We want to encourage you to give pinning a try. Many people are reluctant to try it, but if you have the pins, you just might give it a try. Nothing beats the custom fit and comfort of a nicely pinned diaper. Pinning is not necessary but it does work.
Lubricating pins by pushing the point into a bar of Ivory soap or other bar soap before using helps any pin slide, so do lubricate your pins!

Or for your one free pair you may choose one pair from our selection of colors of standard diaper pins. These have traditional diaper pin safety heads and are easier to operate with one hand. They are nice and sharp.
As with any item you use on your baby, please inspect your pins upon arrival and inspect them before each use, just like you do for snaps on diaper covers and snaps on clothing and such. Never let pins go through the wash.
These work amazing with flats or flour sack towels! We use them with the above overnight and everything stays together.
These come sharp and slide right through prefolds. Unfortunately, they also pop open under the cover when my 11 month old tugs on them. They worked well for the first 10 months though.
Thank you for your review of the free pins. If they are popping open they have most likely become bent during the 10 months of use and we would recommend discarding them at this point. Possibly for your older baby the GMD Slide Lock Pins would work better now. Thank you for shopping with GMD!
They are diaper pins and they work to pin diapers and they were free :)
I rarely pin diapers. Instead I use these to pin cards to baby shower gifts. It sparks pleasant conversations about cloth diapers and is an adorable touch.
Go for the GMD locking pins, they are much better and work very well.
