Cloth diapering using a natural fabric outer, natural fabric absorbency and natural fabric next to baby. Wool is the main natural fiber outer (cover) fabric. Wool must be hand washed. This is the most expensive and most labor-intensive way to cloth diaper. But it is also the most natural and most breathable. It is also bulkier than other options. It is probably the most leak-free system. Even the most all-natural-minded families still should have some synthetic covers on hand for just-in-case. Wool covers can take 24 hours to dry so having a few regular synthetic covers on hand is a good idea.
