Size one 6-18 pounds (see notes above, we think it runs smaller, 4-15 pounds or so)

Size two 18-40 pounds (we think runs smaller, more like 15 pounds to about 30 pounds)

This cover has rise snaps. I think the size change from size one to size two might come at 15 pounds not the 18 pounds recommended but baby shapes vary of course, so weight recommendations are always a rough guess. Great over unpinned prefolds. Size one fits over newborn orange edge or novice green or small yellow edge prefolds. Size two fits over medium red edge, intermediate blue edge or size large brown edge Cloth-eez prefold diapers, trifolded and just placed in the wrap. If you need a cover to fit over size XL toddler prefolds, then you need the Thirsties Cover in Size Large instead.

This is a no-pinning delight, but you can fasten the diaper underneath. They also work very nicely over Workhorse diapers and other fitted or fastened diapers, too. 100% polyester with TPU laminate FREE of VOCs, PVC, phthalates, lead, and latex. Made in the USA.

I used the thirsties cover with snaps on our newborn and needed to buy a couple more covers, so we thought the velcro would be easier. Bought 2 of them and I'm not a fan. They don't lay flat in the front and cut into her belly, she doesn't sit up much yet, so I imagine that this would be a bigger problem as she grew.

I recently started cloth-diapering our 1-month old (I've now been cding for over a month, she's 2 months now) and I have 3 of the Thirsties Duo Wraps (along with a few other covers of various brands - Bummis Super Brite and Flips). These are my GO-TO covers! I absolutely love them. I have both the old- and new-style aplix and I must say that the new aplix is so much stronger than the old - I definitely recommend it. Thirsties Duo Wraps and Cloth-eez Workhorse diapers are where it's AT. I wish my whole stash could be just these!

The thirsties size 1 duo in aplix wrap is my absolutely favourite wrap for a newborn. They fit right away, and they also last longer (go up to a bigger size) than the other newborn wraps I liked, such as Rumparooz. They also wipe clean and are much more reusable without washing than some other wraps, like Tots Bots or Grovia which have an inner that gets pee-soaked.

LOVE these covers! When I started cloth diapering years ago, these wraps were recommended to me. They are so easy to use! When my kids get older, I didn't even pin them. Just tri-folded them into the diaper. While my babies are young and have runny poo, I do pin (or now snappi--cloth diapering is SO much easier now than when I started!). The only problem I've had is each wrap only lasts through one child. As the kids grew, the elastic got stretched out and couldn't be reused with a younger child. But they are cheap enough that this wasn't a major concern. And it could just be my kids--they've all had linebacker thighs :)

The only drawback to wool covers is that they can have compression wicking during long car rides in the areas where the straps press against the diaper. For those times, I keeps couple of these wraps on hand. They are simple, cute, and the leg gusset is pure genius.
