I am not usually a fan of pockets
I am not usually a fan of pockets (I don't like stuffing) but when our Thirsties Natural All-in-Ones started getting too snug in the waist on my older toddlers (2 and 4 years old), we decided to try these because I heard they were a bit more generously sized. So glad we did! My boys both have ample growing room (they fit in the middle rise with just a few snaps showing at 28 and 33 lbs), but the diaper itself is trim fitting and plenty absorbent. We usually use both inserts it comes with but can actually get away with just the hemp on my non-heavy wetter. It is our go-to diaper for long car rides or naps because of its absorbency. A bit tricky to stuff at first as it gets narrow in the middle but I found stuffing front to back made it easier for some reason. Love that these are made in the USA, too!
Enjoying Thirsties Pockets
We have been trying out different pocket diapers as we find we prefer them. We liked our Thirsties covers over prefolds so I wanted to try out their pocket style. Same quality and I really do like those double leg gussets. I can take or leave the double opening for the insert. Had some color running the first few washes but it left no permanent stains so no big deal. I'd buy more and recommend to others : )
Thirsties Pocket Diapers
Love the pocket diapers, the fit on my baby is great! Don't love that they come with microfiber inserts, but love the hemp ones. Green Mountain Diapers is lightning fast! I ordered at 4pm, and the order was complete and ready for shipping in 10 minutes! Incredible! Love supporting small businesses :)
Favorite pocket diapers
These diapers are so soft, durable, and never leak. Two other things make them stand out as well: double gussets! and slits on both ends of the pocket to make stuffing easier. Thirties are my favorite of the three types of pockets we've tried.
Easy to use
I have been all about prefolds and covers for the last 9 months with my LO but decided to try the pocket diaper. I thought pulling the absorbent layer out would be a pain but it isn’t. And washing it is pretty easy too, much easier than an AO. It dries pretty quick too.
