Beautiful and soothing fine merino wool in a romper style that works with car seats. Wool does not need washing often, but when it is time to wash it, please wash by hand in a proper wool wash to keep it soft and in shape. Made in Germany.
Special savings on size 50/56 in the color grey. The price of this size is being discounted due to a blue dot mark near the button holes. The blue dot is a normal sewer's mark used to mark the correct placement of the button holes that was not washed off immediately after sewing. On most of this group of rompers, these blue marks are not very noticeable, but they can be seen if you are looking closely.
Keeps him nice and warm in my freezing winter house without him getting sweaty. Also the wooden buttons are just adorable
I bought this for my newborn so we could get out while it's still cold. It keeps him warm, and is so gosh darn adorable! The wool is incredibly soft!
I was nervous to buy such an expensive baby outfit, but I wanted to invest into something quality made. I got the grey one. My baby who is 10 day old has been wearing this since she was 2 days old. She loves it and so do I. She is so comfy in it and her temperature is never too hot or too cold. She hardly cries and is so content in this outfit. I feel bad when people gift me baby clothes from walmart because I just want her to wear this outfit all the time. I bed share and she does not need a blanket with her outfit. Its perfect for cold nights when we are going to church. My baby was 9 pounds at birth and the 50/56 fits her good with room to grow. I also love how my babys feet stay warm in this because you can cover the feet. I'm going to have to buy the next size!
I have orher disana products which are great. I don’t know why this one is not soft. I am bey disappointed.
I couldn't be happier with this wool romper. In fact, the very day after it arrived, our heat went out on the first cold night of the season. It had gotten down to 19 degrees overnight, but the baby was warm and cozy in this romper over a wool diaper cover. Even his hands were warm, which was a first. Thank you, GMD, for carrying superior products such as this. I'm happy to spend the money on a few good wool items for my baby, knowing he'll be warm, dry and comfortable, than spend the same or more on a bunch of cheap disappointments. NB: after a month of constant nightly wear, certain areas of the romper have pilled (like where baby rubs his feet against each other), and the cuffs have felted slightly from him sticking his fists in his drool-filled mouth. Neither in my mind detracts from the quality of the garment, since a lesser item would never stand up to the wear this gets; especially not a soft woolen item such as this is.
