Boiled organic wool booties for babies. Their hook and loop fasteners make these Disana boiled wool booties easy as pie to put on and adjust to suit baby’s feet. The long shank with sewn-in elastic stops the booties from being knocked off. They do have non-slip soles but they are really designed for pre-walkers. They stay on. You know from your own experience that when your feet hurt, you feel grumpy and uncomfortable. I think baby experiences the same grumpy-uncomfortable thing in cheapy, stiff, vinyl, plastic or polyester booties or shoes and even in overly tight socks. Feet are very important for overall bodily comfort! Boiled wool is pliable and comfortable and healthy. Use with or without socks under them depending on the weather.

You won't lose them because you'll use them all the time so one pair is all you need for early baby footwear.  You can also use them over footie pjs for some extra warmth for little feet.

We took our own pictures so you can see the true colors better than you can in the stock pictures. Made in Germany.

Note from Karen: This applies not just for baby booties but for most baby things (but not diapers - you really do need a big enough pile of them so you don't run out!): I would rather have one good thing that I enjoy and use often than a whole bunch of things that are not really so wonderful, cause clutter and are hard to keep track of anyhow. With first born babies, we often accumulate too much "stuff" and far too many gadgets. By the third baby, you have and need less "stuff" but the things you have are better things. Having a few quality things, in my opinion, is so much better than a pile of junk. Clutter can be stressful. Keep things simple. Stay in budget. Do not buy what you cannot afford to buy. Wool baby booties are wonderful but they are not a must-have item. Set your budget and stay within it. Warmly, Karen.

Purchased these for our 3 month old.

Purchased these for our 3 month old. She is now 6 months old and they are still working out beautifully! We use them as "shoes" for our baby when we go out or alternatively in place of baby socks. They stay on her feet and are easy to use. The product is quality all the way and my baby has warm feet (but not sweaty as fleece booties often yield).

Love these booties, they stay on and look really cute.

Love these booties, they stay on and look really cute. Velcro tab is quite long but doesn't bother us. Have had lots of people commenting on them.

I really like these.

I really like these. They are a perfect over socks while out and about running errands. They do not come off easily and I think they are super cute. Only 4 stars because the Velcro fastener is way too long. However, it doesn't bother me enough to add a tiny tab to attach the "tail." Worth the money for non-walkers in cooler weather!

These booties do keep my daughter's feet warm, and they do stay on better than socks.

These booties do keep my daughter's feet warm, and they do stay on better than socks. However, the velcro tabs are cumbersome and too long, and the wool sticks to the hook side. Also, the wool has pilled quite a bit. They are not cute, but they work.

These are cute, soft, and warm.

These are cute, soft, and warm. They stay on OK -- better than socks, but they do come off with kicking. I like them over footed pants for going outside in cool weather. The sizing of the foot is just right for my 6 month 17 pound baby. But the velcro tabs around the ankles are huge -- it's like they're designed for really, really fat ankles. I think overall I might have done better to spend the money on a few pairs of smartwool type socks.
