This is beautiful. Ultra soft boiled wool from head to toe lined with organic cotton inside. The big hood, the roll-ups on the arms and legs, the great fit, the lovely big tagua nut buttons: all these details help to make Disana boiled wool overall a really special addition to baby’s wardrobe. Air woven into the wool regulates temperature and humidity like no other fabric. The high lanolin content in Disana wool envelops every single fiber, making it almost waterproof. Both these effects make the boiled wool hooded bunting great to wear over baby’s clothes when playing and romping around in the snow.

We stock the newest 2017 version which has newly shaped hood for a better fit.

Look closely to see the built in navy blue hood lined with soft organic cotton in the picture.

Made of 100% organic Merino wool / lining: 100% organic cotton. Made in Germany.

Love this so much!

This suit runs big, my daughter is a peanut and weighs just under 15lbs at 8 months old. The 62/68 fits her with plenty of room to grow. We spend a lot of time outside for work and all other snowsuits were too bulky and not stretchy enough for her to be comfortable in the pack for long. This one stretches well so she can still move even while wearing a few layers. Unlike other suits, the hood stays tight around her face so her ears don't get cold. I was worried it would be too thin but she's always toasty warm when I take it off! My only complaint is that I wish it zipped instead of buttoned since I worry about it getting drafty, but it really isn't a huge deal. This is absolutely heirloom quality and I'm so glad I got it! I couldn't pass up that rose color, it's perfect.

Just buy it!

My husband and I couldn't have been happier with this product. It absolutely made us both fall in love with Disana products. Someone else stated it is heirloom quality, and I completely agree. We bought in the navy and a girlfriend has it in plum. Their colors are stunning, quality is remarkable, and all babies seem cozy and darling in Disana products. We bought the matching hat and booties and would hands down recommend these as quality investments. I don't have our sizing off the top of my head but feel like if you're on the fence, order up if your baby isn't quite mobile yet because it gives them easy room to grow.

lovely garment

I bought the largest size for my 97% 10 month old (the 12-24 month size) and I worried he'd be swimming in it . But, it fits nicely as an outside layer on top of his leggings, pants, shirt, sweater, socks, booties, and hat. (we go for walks in 10 degree weather). There is also lots and lots of room to grow so I imagine I really will get at least 2 seasons from it. This is a beautiful garment. The crotch is stitched very thoughtfully not to ride up uncomfortably when I ease baby into a back carrier (this was an issue with a snowsuit someone gave us . . great for kids who walk but not comfy for my son to wear while being carried) The buttons come all the way up to the neck to keep the hood on without breezes going down the collar area. The wool is beautiful and the color is gorgeous (I got the blue). He feels like a prince when I put him in this. I am looking forward to handing it down to a friend's child when my fella is done with it . . it's a beautiful, warm, and well-crafted garment.

The best quality and oh so warm and cozy!

Keep my little guy nice and warm- and the blue is beautiful. Everyone asks me where I got such an awesome outfit for him because he looks so snug, warm, and comfy in it, probably because he is always asleep with it on! Even when we were out in 30 degree, windy, Halloween weather in Chicago. The cold did not even bother him!

I wish I could wear!

I wish I could wear something so charming, elegant, timeless as the boiled wool from Disana. The Disana Wool Romper is absolutely gorgeous! I got my little girl the rose color, which is a becoming mauve. On my computer screen the rose looked a tad orange-pink, but it is a very nice dusty rose. I feel so chic just talking about it. Every seam is perfect. The wool is soft and perfection. The sizing does run large. I ordered the 86/92 figuring it likely would run big and that I could use it in a year or so for my little girl. My baby girl is 10 months old. She is rather a big girl (for my family, at least). The biggest of all my children, she weighs 24 lbs, and wears 18month pants. She is as tall as her 20month old cousin. The 86/92 would fit my almost 3 year old, who is a tiny fellow and thin fellow. The price is high, but I could not find anything very warm at my local thrift store. I did not want to purchase a synthetic piece of fluff from a big box store. I do know that Disana items are heirloom quality. It may not be good for someone who does not want to wash it specially by hand, but I don't mind that, and don't I will have to wash it but once or twice. A very sweet item.
