SECOND QUALITY on this page.

Seconds does NOT mean second-hand. These are brand new but have flaws of some kind.   Flaws might be stitching issues, fabric flaws, sewing issues, perhaps it got dirty somehow, or other various things that make them not first quality.  If you want first quality, buy first quality.  Every diaper has something wrong with it. All snaps should be operable and the snaps are warranteed for 90 days,  but other flaws are not covered.

Snap closure is on this page. (Also available in a no-closure version)

Cloth-eez® Workhorse™ original white fitted diapers. Sold individually.  Chlorine-free white 100% cotton. Simple. Effective, pure cotton. Or choose the same thing in organic cotton here.

Wonderful 100% cotton prefold diaper fabric in fitted diaper shape with a built in flap style doubler. Newborn and small have 6 layers in the flap and medium and up have 8 layer flaps, which is age-appropriate layering. Did you ever wish your lovely prefolds were shaped like a fitted? There is no better diapering fabric than the cotton prefold fabric. It washes so easily and wears so well. No polyester stink, no repelling, no special detergents are needed for 100% cotton diapers. The snaps are covered by the cotton fabric inside so no snaps touch baby. The flap style doubler is sewn inside in the back only for quick drying. See pictures on a baby here. Designed by Karen and made exclusively for Green Mountain Diapers. I love cotton diapers, especially prefolds, but sometimes a fitted style is preferred. This is an economy fitted with great low price and no confusing adjustments which create additional bumps and lumpy places. It's not fancy but it does the job really well at a great price. Sized diapers fit better than "one-size-fits-all" diapers because young babies are little and older babies are bigger. Yup, that's true. We made the wings a little longer on the no-closure version to give you more fabric to use for pinning or fastening them but the rise is the same for both versions. Consider baby's shape when choosing size. Wide, round "booty" shapes will need to size-up sooner than narrow, flat-bottom shapes, who will stay in a smaller size longer. Very fast growing newborns can skip size small and go from Newborn to Medium. 100% cotton exclusive of trim. Made in Pakistan.

Also in organically grown cotton here.

Note: This is a diaper. It requires a cover (sold separately).

Please note that you can use any laundry detergent on cotton diapers. You do not need to purchase "special for cloth diapers" detergents". We do not sell them and they are not needed on prefolds or Workhorse diapers.  Keep it simple. Use what you would normally use on your regular household laundry. Yes, Tide is ok or whatever you happen to like.  We do suggest unscented choices but that is up to you. This is a diaper which means it is the absorbent part. Use a diaper cover over this diaper, which is not included.

100% cotton, exclusive of trim. Edge thread and tag are nylon or polyester.

Please wash several times before first use. Link to more washing information.

We just love the workhorse snaps. My husband, parents and sisters are all willing to change cloth diapers now, and they were not excited when we decided to do cloth. My 3 month old still fits in newborn snaps during the day but we needed more absorbency during the night. And we can’t even tell they are seconds!

Workhorse Fitteds awesome

My Workhorse Fitteds seconds are just like new but half the price, so I was able to get the bigger sizes I needed! Thank you! They are essential for my now 6yr old (disabled) child. Cloth makes baby diapering better, and maintains dignity for older ones needing diapering rather than having to switch to disposables and feel medically needy more than necessary. Thank you!!!

Good overnight option (with doubler)

The Medium fits our 6-month, 17-pound baby (although it's starting to fall short in back and we'll size up in a month or so). It's become part of a winning overnight combo: Sposie booster inside the Workhorse fitted, wrapped with a double-sided microfiber/hemp insert and then covered with a size 2 (size up) Thirsties PUL cover. That will go 12 hours without a change, and has even lasted up to 14 -- great if your baby will sleep that long and doesn't fuss to be changed!

Easy and Efficient

I love these fitted diapers. I can’t even tell where the quality issue is making it a seconds. These suckers hold a lot of pee and go on so easy. No fussing with pins or snappi! So easy for grandparents and other caregivers.

I can't tell why these are seconds

I bought 18 of these seconds in medium figuring that they are just diapers and as long as they absorb and stay on I was happy. As I was opening and looking at each one I couldn't begin to guess why these were ever marked as seconds. I have the newborn and smalls in first quality and couldn't see any difference. A couple had very small smudges that washed out and perhaps the serging was just a notch less close together but nothing I could say for certain. Overall, we love them. We will use them for baby 4 and soon to be baby 5 when he grown into them. And I'll feel good knowing what a great deal we got on a great product.
