Due to the stretchy nature of wool material, each size fits a wide range of little baby feet. This allows some room your baby grows. One layer of 100% merino wool is soft and light, more like a good sock for weight than a thick shoe. They are not sweaty polyester. Wool breathes and soothes. These little shoes are not only adorable, they are better than regular baby socks that are either kicked off easily or too-tight "compression socks" that leave ankle marks. Baby will enjoy the non-binding comfort of the soft stretchy wool with a gentle elastic section to keep them on little feet. These are for pre-walkers. They do not have vinyl or plastic non-skid bottoms. They are just soft and stretchy wool on the bottom. Made of Okeo Tex 100 certified merino wool. Handwash gently in a proper wool wash. Each pair of shoes is handcrafted and individually made in the USA.

I LOVE these booties. I had a large fall baby and at 2.5mo/14 lbs I needed something to keep his feet warm in our chilly southern winter. Being our third, he gets worn a lot so the footie outfits and pants don’t work and socks get lost all the time. These are soft, comfortable, warm but breathable and I’ve never lost one yet! I have two sizes and am getting rid of all my tiny baby socks since these are all I need. Love, love, love!
These booties are well made, keep baby's feet very warm and stay on. The only issue is that the stitching inside the booties is large and the seams left impressions on his feet. I managed to fix the issue by turning the booties inside out.
I absolutely love these. My daughter wore them everyday for at least 3 months but even though she's not walking, she wore a hole in them, I guess from wiggling her toes. I really would've liked them to last longer but I'm considering buying another pair cause I like them so much. I do wish they had a version with non skid pads on the bottom and came in other colors.
I bought these for my now 2-month old, 10 lb. daughter, and they are great. They fit her at 5 weeks, they fit now, and there's still growing room. These are little slippers that actually stay on, even when my baby has socks on. I have a 4 yr old at home, and tried all kinds of booties with her, but none of them really worked. I wish GMD had these four years ago! (They do pill a bit, but that's just what wool does, which doesn't bother me or affect the fit on baby.)
