Note from Karen: If baby gets red marks at the legs from other brands of covers, try this one. They way it is sewn at the legs makes for a very soft leg opening area that is less likely to leave red marks. It is very soft and gentle. See more pictures
Cherry Tomato on an 8 pound newborn baby.
Waterproof outer cover designed to be used with an absorbent insert or to go over a fitted diaper. Consisting of an outer layer of breathable, waterproof polyurethane laminated polyester (PUL), sewn to a butter soft microfleece inner layer, so that only the softest of soft touches your baby’s delicate skin. Snug, durable elastic at both the waist and legs for a gentle and secure fit. Two rows of easy-to-adjust snaps, allowing for a proper fit at the legs and the waist. A handy envelope opening, wide enough for daddy’s hands, which allows for the option of placing the absorbent inner between the fleece and the waterproof outer layer if so desired. The outer fabric is Denier knit. This is a very soft version of the diaper cover material.

My baby has bigger legs and a big bottom, not huge, but big :) The Apple Cheeks fit him well because of their elastics and snap placements. They have the perfect amount of stretch too. The inside is soft and these are quick and easy covers to stuff.
Only con is this cover runs small compared to other one size options so be aware that you will likely need to get the “size 2” version of Applecheeks or a bigger diaper if you need a diaper to fit over maybe 2 years old+. That being said the pros - it was one of the first OS diapers to fit my newborn and fit well. It’s gentle around the legs. All around soft and great quality. Never had any issues as long as we have enough absorbency.
Beautiful diaper cover. It is definitely slimmer than others. Pretty snug on my 22 lb 8 month old. Probably won't be able to use it as long as our other covers. Great quality though.
When it’s wash day for my wool diapers I turn to this cover for the closest alternative to a soft, breathable cover that does not leave elastic marks on my baby. I was excited when GMD started stocking this cover I bought it same day. As stated, it really is a soft cover and does not leave those elastic marks. The only downside is that it does not fit my toddler - (19 mos / / approx. 26 lbs) unless she’s only in a trim flat and even then it can be snug to get the snaps on. As they stated, it depends on babies shape.
