Beautiful, highest quality interlock wool. Each cover is hand cut and hand sewn by an impressive team of local seamstresses in North Carolina, USA. I love the snap-side styling! Side snaps provide great coverage for no leak diapering, and I think it's very comfortable for baby because nothing is tight across the tummy area. There are several snap adjustments at the leg and waist for a custom fit. Made of Oeko Tex 100 certified merino wool. The snaps are reinforced with a small section of hidden cotton facing between the two layers of wool, thus the snaps are reinforced. This way the snaps stay strong over the life of the cover. The wool is jersey knit so it is stretchy and since it's merino, it is soft and comfy. I keep saying "comfy" when talking about this cover! While this style of cover is trim for daytime use, it does work decently overnight for some babies. You might want to size-up for overnight use if in the upper half of the recommended weight range. When it is time to wash it, please wash by hand in a proper wool wash to keep it soft and in shape. Made in the USA. This cover is terrific because it's so soft and cool inside because wool breathes.
Washing instructions: Wash by hand using a gentle wool wash such as Eucalan or a gentle bar soap such as Olive Oil Soap. Do not use Unicorn Beyond Clean on Babee Greens wool. Detailed instructions are provided here on our website and on the Wool Page which is included with your order.

I only use wool covers and these are nice soft wool, HOWEVER, I was very disappointed to find that there was NO size difference between newborn and small. I lay them both flat and stretched them out on top of one another to double and triple check as I just couldn't believe I'd wasted my money buying more covers that were the exact same size as the ones I already had. The tags stating the size were the only difference *sigh*. So I bought the mediums... and while they have been working, I also found the Mediums to run very close in size to the small, especially around the legs. They actually left red marks on baby's thighs for weeks until they stretched out a bit (and this was when she was below the starting weight for this category, average thighs). I purchase 2 newborn, 4 small and 4 medium, but not all of the mediums or smalls are consistent in size; they are slightly different from each other, enough to make a difference in how well they fit the baby. Disappointing considering they are quite expensive. Now I am nervous about buying the next size up as my little one quickly grows out of the mediums... I wonder if the Large will actually be any larger. My little one is currently 9 months 18lbs and we started using these covers very early on. Love the breathability of wool, but may have to look elsewhere due to sizing issues.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. As you noted, no two covers are identical as Babee Greens is a small business in North Carolina where each cover is hand cut and hand sewn. There is indeed quite a bit of overlap in sizes as can be seen in the product description: Newborn 6-12 pounds Small 8-18 pounds Medium 15-25 pounds (I think this runs more like 12-22) Large 20-35 pounds Many people appreciate this overlap in size; some babies can skip a size and still find a good fit. Fit is never guaranteed, however, and customers are always welcome to return an item within 30 days if unused/unwashed. Unfortunately these covers were all purchased over 5 months ago. Always feel free to reach out to us prior to ordering if you would like assistance with selecting a size for your baby, and/or return the unwashed item once tried on if it is not the correct fit. We are very available at firstname.lastname@example.org and always happy to help. We are glad, however, that you have been able to use these soft and effective covers. Please know that we never send second quality or irregular items as first quality; if customers are not happy with the quality when they receive their orders we are happy to replace or refund if returned.
New idea/experience. Always used cloth and now have a foster newborn. His bum needed extra love being extra sensitive so was searching for options. I am impressed! Doesn’t leak, his bottom is happy and today we had a surprise fountain... it did exactly as they said. Beaded up and I poured it out into the diaper pail. I’ll be ordering more!!!
I love these covers! They are so soft and stretchy and repell moisture well. Poop washes out of them really easily using Eucalan wool wash, but since switching to fitted diapers underneath, I have only really needed to air them out. They may seem more expensive than PUL covers, but you don't have to wash them as frequently, so you need fewer. You could get away with just two honestly. I have a size small and a medium and the small fits my 14 lb 6 month old very well. The medium fits her decently too but it's not as trim. These run a little smaller than the wrap style wool cover from Babee Greens but are otherwise very similar. They are amazing and I'm so glad I gave it a try with one.
I tend to love every product from Babee Greens I purchased so far. All made to last for a long time, good quality material, perfect fit as well as nice for touching and feeling. My almost 2 months old (8 weeks) fits inside this cover perfectly with some space to grow. I am using a second pear of snaps on it right now. On the picture below it is a newborn organic cotton diaper from Babee Greens inside the cover.
