Snap closing strap to close up the top when needed. The closing strap is sewn on so you won't loose it. This means no struggling to slide a closure that doesn't really slide well. A smart design.
Thirsties Mini Diaper Pail Liner. Sewn in elastic at opening. Fully taped at seams. This prevents wicking at seams. If you dunk or spray off your diapers and don't do a good job wringing them out so they are still dripping wet before dropping them into your pail, such that you pail is quite wet inside, then this is the right pail liner to choose. It really does a better job than other brands in too-wet situations because it has fully taped seams. But even so, it is not intended for soaking diapers. No pail liner should be used for that! Please wring the diapers out well anyhow, because it will be quite heavy if you don't do that, so I still encourage wringing them well after dunking or spraying. Fits small wastebaskets up to 4 gallons 100% polyester with TPU laminate. 14' wide by 14.5 high. FREE of VOCs, PVC, phthalates, lead, and latex. Made in the USA.
Wastebasket liner only. Diaper pail is NOT included but is pictured so you can see how it is used.
Using a pail liner really decreases or eliminates the need to scrub out the inside of the pail. I never scrub out my pail, but I do put it in the sun to deodorize it occasionally. I think it is a good idea to put the pail in outside in the sun once in a while if you can because UV rays really do freshen up the pail itself without any scrubbing at all.
Looking for a diaper pail? We don't sell them because any garbage pail without a lid or with a lid that is not airtight works well. Yes, I do mean NOT airtight. Airtight diaper storage is bad. The pail does need some air circulation.

We have started using wipes instead of toilet paper, and I use this liner in a five gallon bucket in our bathroom. It works great for our purposes. I'm not putting a lot of wetness in it, so I can't speak to whether there would be leaks in that case. It got the purple, and it's very pretty and just the right size. Love it.
We’ve used thirstiest products for 6 years now, so we’re pretty familiar with them. In the past, the diaper pail liners seem to last a year or so before they lose their water-proofing and start to get some dampness on the outside. This last set of small liners we ordered, however, will leak now - within a week of using them. The seam-taping on the side seams has released from the waterproof insides of the pail liners on all of the liners. We bought three of each of three colors to rotate out each day, though we only use two at a time. But within the second wash, the tape started pulling away, and within four washes it is unsealed along the entire lengths. We are only using these for wipes, not diapers, so we don’t have a problem with leaks (nothing very wet is sitting in the liners), but if we were, I’d be returning or looking for a refund or something because these would leak along the entire lengths of the seams (along two sides, from bottom to top). We do follow washing instructions (I’m a stickler for this, and more conservative/careful than many recommendations) and we hang to dry. Be forewarned.
We are sorry to hear about the problem. Seam sealing coming undone is usually under warranty; please do contact us on the contact us page with any warranty concerns or email us directly at email@example.com Thirsties has a good warranty and we are happy to help you with contacting them. We will be in touch with you directly soon. Sincerely, Elizabeth, GMD Customer Support
This liner is the perfect size for a small receptacle. It washes nicely and i love the color.
My kids are grown now. I used GM diapers when they were babies. I purchased the wipes and pail liners recently just in case we run out of tp. Oddly enough my store just sold out of trash bags including the small bathroom bags so I will be using the pail liners now. I hope we don’t need the wipes but I can still use them for cleaning. I still have some old diapers 15 years later.
This pail liner is great! It's well-made, a great color, and I really like the closure, which makes carrying our wipes to the washer easy. I dropped a star because the elastic at the top is very tight and though I bought a trash can that meets the volume measurement, the elastic is so tight that it changes the shape of the pail and thus I can't put the lid on properly - I have to just set it on top and it occasionally falls off, which is a little annoying.
