Ruskovilla merino wool cable knit baby blanket.  No dyes.  No synthetics.  Made in Finland.

100 % mulesing-free organic merino wool

Wool naturally balances body temperature, unlike synthetics. Wool rarely needs washing. It self-cleans and airs out easily. Serious soiling will need to be hand washed out, but most daily moisture issues (such as spit-up) can be promptly wiped off and it stays fine without getting smelly.  

Wool neutralizes odors and often airing is enough to keep wool fresh

All wool products from Green Mountain Diapers have have not been treated with moth-proofing chemicals, so please protect the product from moths and other insects.

Hand wash only. Ruskovilla certified and mulesing-free organic merino wool comes from Argentina and Uruguay. The merino wool used is up to seven time finer than the wool from Finnish sheep and therefore feels pleasant against skin

No washing is required before first use, however wool becomes slightly softer after the first wash.  Hand wash only in a proper wool wash. Press extra moisture onto a towel to help remove moisture. Lay flat to dry.  Do not wring or twist.   Smooth into shape when wet.

Of course pure organic wool has no polyester therefore cannot shed any microplastics.  At the end of its lifecycle 100% wool returns back to nature.
