I bought an Large in Desert Bloom for my potty training toddler, and she loves them. She is around 30lbs, and was starting to outgrow large prefolds when she decided she was all done diapers. Because she's on the young side, we got these for naps and nighttime, to prevent complete soaking in case. They have been helpful in containing sleepytime pees, and she likes that they're somewhat like "big girl panties" for nighttime.
My 18 month old became very interested in the potty, so we got a couple of these as well as some absorbent undies from another source to try for comparison. These are fantastic. She is still very aware of her functions, yet these keep the mess off the floor and furniture. With the undies, we have to double them up and accidents still go right through.
These have washed and dried well so far, and they feel more like underwear. These trainers are easier for my kiddo to pull up and down than the Best Bottom trainers. My LO is great with #1 on the potty but not yet committing to #2. Since we got this new pair of trainers, LO has committed to not poop in them, so I can't say how easy that would be to clean out, but there aren't any snaps or anything, so the hardest part would definitely be getting them off the kiddo. LO is ~28 lbs and the size M is good.
My 2 year old has recently become a little offended by diapers (only okay with nap and night diapers because we put them on her Llama toy also), so these work great when we're going out to someplace we really can't manage accidents well... Church, grocery store, coffee shop, etc. Since they seem more like underwear than diapers they are perfectly acceptable to her as a substitute for her underwear when we feel it necessary. They don't hold much without getting clothes wet, so as of now they aren't good night/nap options for her, but eventually when she's waking up to use the toilet I think they'll be our go to.
