While this is intended to be a pocket diaper, the mom who gave us this picture is using it on her 1 year old as a cover over a size large Workhorse. If used as a pocket, you would probably choose to set the rise snaps down one setting and it would be trimmer that way. But over the fitted Workhorse in this picture, it works at full rise and is nice and roomy and comfortable. Used as a diaper cover, it has the soft fleece inside so no waterproofing touches baby's skin inside, which is nice. Of course, it's not a "wipe clean" cover that way so you might need a fresh cover a bit more often. As a cover or a pocket, it's lower priced than anything else in it's class. Plus, you can enjoy that is is responsibly made in the USA.

Great nighttime diapers
Was worried because there is no pul guard in front like bum genius, but I have had no problem with daughter 12m or son 2 1/2. No leaks either. I use Birdseye half flat with a hemp doulber or red edge prefold to stuff.
I love using them on my 1-month-old baby. We've been using them for three weeks now. We started using them when she was a little under 1-month-old. It fits her well though there are some extra spaces around her legs (but it's getting better since she is growing so fast). It has leaked some poop when she had a lot. I usually put a prefold (that's folded into half) and a hemp insert into these pockets. That adds very good absorbency which is good because now she can sleep for 6 hours straight. Putting inserts into the pocket is definitely easy. The material inside keeps her somewhat drier than just a prefold diaper which I use during the day. I use these pocket diapers for the night time. When she grows out of the prefold diapers we are using now, I'll probably get more and just use these.
I wanted to switch to pocket diapers for my toddler after using prefolds and flats, but buying new pocket diapers with inserts was so expensive and seemed like a waste of money. I loved that I could buy these with no inserts and stuff them with the GMD prefolds I had already! They fit great and do the job. I couldn’t be happier.
