Note from Karen: If baby gets red marks at the legs from other brands of covers, try this one. They way it is sewn at the legs makes for a very soft leg opening area that is less likely to leave red marks. It is very soft and gentle. See more pictures
Cherry Tomato on an 8 pound newborn baby.
Waterproof outer cover designed to be used with an absorbent insert or to go over a fitted diaper. Consisting of an outer layer of breathable, waterproof polyurethane laminated polyester (PUL), sewn to a butter soft microfleece inner layer, so that only the softest of soft touches your baby’s delicate skin. Snug, durable elastic at both the waist and legs for a gentle and secure fit. Two rows of easy-to-adjust snaps, allowing for a proper fit at the legs and the waist. A handy envelope opening, wide enough for daddy’s hands, which allows for the option of placing the absorbent inner between the fleece and the waterproof outer layer if so desired. The outer fabric is Denier knit. This is a very soft version of the diaper cover material.

Nice fit, as said on the website they are smaller than other one sizes but they will work great for future newborns I do wish I’d gotten them while my baby was smaller. I love that AppleCheeks has elastic in the front too makes for a good fit.
Wanted to try a different brand than what I currently have in my stash. Bummed that these barely fit my 16 month old boy. Won't get much more use out of it. Maybe a couple months. Luckily we will probably have more kids. Other than that the quality seems nice and I did like this diaper. Seems like it will hold everything in and feels comfy. Just wish it was really a one size fits all, or at least that they made more sizes. But glad I tried apple cheeks, so I now know that I like their diapers!
These are perfect for my chunky thigh baby. I started using these by stuffing them with pad folded birdseye flats but eventually switched to using them as a cover instead of a pocket. They are the the softest and stretchiest diaper cover I have ever tried. I never see red marks along the elastics at the waist or legs. I was worried that they would wick moisture along the leg ruffles but I haven't had that issue since starting them 6 months ago.
My baby has bigger legs and a big bottom, not huge, but big :) The Apple Cheeks fit him well because of their elastics and snap placements. They have the perfect amount of stretch too. The inside is soft and these are quick and easy covers to stuff.
Only con is this cover runs small compared to other one size options so be aware that you will likely need to get the “size 2” version of Applecheeks or a bigger diaper if you need a diaper to fit over maybe 2 years old+. That being said the pros - it was one of the first OS diapers to fit my newborn and fit well. It’s gentle around the legs. All around soft and great quality. Never had any issues as long as we have enough absorbency.
