One of many, many ways to set up your wipes is to premoisten the wipes with water, then give a quick shake of the spray bottle to mix it then spritz either baby's bottom directly or spritz the wipe, as you see fit. Do moisten the wipes. The spray bottle is not for that, it's for adding a bit the cleaner to your already-moistened-with-water wipes. I spritzed the moistened wipe because my baby would startle if I spritzed his bottom, but babies vary a lot. The wipes are shown dry in this picture. For water for moistening the wipes, you might have an insulated container of warm water or a wipes warmer with water in it, or any bowl or container to dip a clean wipe into the water to moisten it. You might use the peri bottle or a sports bottle of some kind so nothing spills. I bet you already have a container that will work fine on hand. Freshly made wipes will never get funky, but premoistened wipes might work better for you. There are many ways to do cloth wipes. Do what works for you!
United StatesI LOVE these wipes!! A nice starter pack, though if you are planning on going full-on cloth wipes, you will need a lot more. This is the best material out of all the wipes in my opinion. The spray bottle that comes with is nice, but I prefer to pre-moisten the wipes since I found spraying each wipe each time to be a bit tedious. I do use the spray bottle when the booty needs a little extra moistening though to get any dry bits
WashingtonI like the products in that set and happy Green Mountain Diapers gives some discount for the set. The spray bottle I got was transparent. The wipes are a little narrow for my taste, but the double sided texture is really nice.
MaineI had done cloth exclusively with my first 2 kids, then half with my third as we moved a lot at that time. With wipes being in short supply lately, I returned to GMD for cloth wipes system. It's pretty easy with my 2 yo, and because I do laundry daily, I toss the soiled wipes in and everything comes out clean and smelling fresh. I highly recommend GMD.
