Wonderful 100% cotton prefold diaper fabric in fitted diaper shape with a built in flap style doubler. Newborn and small have 6 layers in the flap and medium and up have 8 layer flaps, which is age-appropriate layering. Did you ever wish your lovely prefolds were shaped like a fitted? There is no better diapering fabric than the cotton prefold fabric. It washes so easily and wears so well. No polyester stink, no repelling, no special detergents are needed for 100% cotton diapers. The snaps are covered by the cotton fabric inside so no snaps touch baby. The flap style doubler is sewn inside in the back only for quick drying. See pictures on a baby here. Designed by Karen and made exclusively for Green Mountain Diapers. I love cotton diapers, especially prefolds, but sometimes a fitted style is preferred. This is an economy fitted with great low price and no confusing adjustments which create additional bumps and lumpy places. It's not fancy but it does the job really well at a great price. Sized diapers fit better than "one-size-fits-all" diapers because young babies are little and older babies are bigger. Yup, that's true. We made the wings a little longer on the no-closure version to give you more fabric to use for pinning or fastening them but the rise is the same for both versions. Consider baby's shape when choosing size. Wide, round "booty" shapes will need to size-up sooner than narrow, flat-bottom shapes, who will stay in a smaller size longer. Very fast growing newborns can skip size small and go from Newborn to Medium. 100% cotton exclusive of trim. Made in Pakistan.
Also in organically grown cotton and other versions here.
Ditch the synthetics and simplify your wash routine with cotton in a size that actually fits your baby.
Customize the fit with the snapless no-closure version for perfect containment and comfort.
100% cotton, exclusive of trim. Edge thread and tag are nylon or polyester.
Please wash several times before first use. Link to more washing information.

My purchases have been washed three times and quilted up just as promised. I am now just waiting for my baby girl to join us. Any day now. :) I'll have to write more once we put our new diapers to the test. Thank you for checking in.
Wonderful Melissa! While waiting for precious baby to come we would recommend taking a diaper to the sink and checking it for absorbency. Organic diapers usually take more than 3 hot cycles to become fully absorbent. If water beads up on them they need more prep cycles. We wouldn't want you to be surprised by leaks and blowouts with your brand new baby. Thank you for your review!
I want to start by saying I have tried other types of cloth diapers and these are my favorite. They are simple to use, which is a huge plus for someone just starting on the cloth journey, and just as easy to clean. They fit so well on my son. We have only used NB and small because he still young but we do plan to continue buying all the sizes. We love these ! They are just as easy as disposables, same shape and everything for those that are on the edge of deciding! They are worth it
Second kid we've used them on. We love these! Highly recommended. Started from. Infant up to potty training. Our newest is chunkier than the last skinny we had. So at 5 months we're moving into the brown. Where our other stayed in the yellow till a few months after her first birthday. Washing takes awhile in my front loader but they come out great and it's still cheaper and not filling the landfill like the disposals. Side note we use the thirties hook and loop diaper cover. And the snappies to go with the workhorse. I love that they both are adaptable and grow with the kid. And easy to wash and air dry.
We’ve used workhorses since birth (7lbs 10 oz) and love them! Easy and effective and great for nights with a stay dry doubler! My 10 week old has recently developed wetness induced eczema though from the waist and leg gussets getting wet. Really wish these amazing workhorses had a stay dry lining option (for more coverage than the doubler/liner). Maybe a new product idea?
