Our Sherpa Diapers are 100% cotton.  Usually when you find sherpa fabric it is a polyester blend but ours is all cotton.   It is two layers of a thick stretchy sherpa knit.  We don't make them in size newborn because it is too thick for a newborn baby. Since it is more dense than prefold fabric it can be hard to get pins through it. If you pin them, keep your pins sharp and lubricate them by poking them into a bar of soap to help them slide through the fabric more easily. These may be best for trifolding or as a night layer under a quick-absorbing Cloth-eez doubler made of prefold fabric.  Because it is dense it acts a lot like hemp acts. It doesn't absorb as quickly as the more open, looser weave of twill prefold fabric, birdseye or muslin, but it is a thirsty fabric.  It is squishy and stretchy but not as bendy as prefold fabric.  Try the large as a newborn changing pad.  It is fun to try something different for a change.  Write a review and let people know what you think of it and how you use it.

Please wash several times before first use. Please note that you can use any mainstream laundry detergent on cotton diapers. You do not need to purchase "special for cloth diapers" detergents. We do not sell them and they are not needed on Cloth-eez diapers.  Keep it simple. Use what you would normally use on your regular household laundry.

Note: The pictures were taken AFTER washing so that you see how they actually look in real life.  Buy in packs of 6 for best value. We also offer them individually in case you want to just try one first to see if you like it.

Very absorbent

Very absorbant, I bought the 6 pack size small. It shrinks minimally, and is thick like the texture of hemp. They fit perfectly in a pocket diaper on all rise settings. Definitely recommend.

Great for heavy wetters!

I love these! My daughter started peeing through everything we had. Muslin flats, large bamboo flats, small stretchy thick bamboo flats, regular cloth eez prefolds, goodmama fitteds, and probably more lol. These are amazing. Anyone who says they're not more absorbent than regular prefolds is crazy. These are waaayyyy more absorbent and hold pee better (as in they don't drip or compression leak). They are super hard to snappi. It can be done but you really have to set the teeth. Never tried pins- wiggly 14 month old, need I say more? Also, the stretch makes it easier to get a real nice fit with these, so if you've ever struggled with regular prefolds these are much easier to get a good snug fit. Due to the snappi difficulty though, I am going to tri fold these and use in our pooters fitteds shells instead. Actually I'm about to order more. Seriously these are excellent for heavy wetters so if you struggle with soaked diapers, wet wool covers, and damp (or soaked) clothes, try these!

Trim and Soft

Love them so far for my hefty 6 month old. Work as well as my GMD prefolds and love that they are trim (pad folded)!

So thirsty!

These are excellent. Even after just 2 washes. I felt like this were prepped just after the first wash but ran another just to be sure. I tried these as a nighttime diaper as a angel wing fold boosted with hemp insert and bamboo insert on top of that. The Sherpa prefold was not even wet guys, and I nurse him like twice and night. This combo worked better than my fitted diapers. Idk guys, if you have tried these and you need something for night time, Try these! Some cons are that I couldn’t personally snappi. Not a deal breaker tho, you could just wrap tightly under a wrap and your set. I did find Boingo a worked bettter. I haven’t tried pinning yet but I will soon. Either or , you could just trifold. Don’t sleep on these like I did.
