Best sweater ever! Size 50/56 was large on my 7 pound newborn. Still fits him at three months. So cute and beautiful color. I chose green. Wish I had one in my size :) I used this instead of a winter jacket. Less bulky and cozy warm in the car seat.

I love Disana products. This is a nice sweater. It will last a long time. I love the smell when washed with the wool wash from this store, in lavender, mmm wool and lavender. I got the blue, what a beautiful rich color, and so soft! I use this sweater for going out, it is too fancy for my boys to wear messing around at home. The weight is perfect for cool, but not freezing SoCal nights. My only complaint about this is, when my year old son chewed on the sleeve, it left dye on his mouth. This resolved when I did a special wool wash in the sink.

Update review. We have had this sweater for a year. We would roll up the sleeves when my son was 12 months old, and it fit long on him. I updated this product to 5 stars because wearing it a lot lately I realize how beautiful and sturdy it is.

My little is 24months old now. It fits perfectly on him, he wears 18-24 month size in most brands of clothing, with many pants baggy around his waist but good in length. He wears the 74/80 size in the Disana sweater, this is listed by GMD as a 6-12month size. I'd say he is on the small side for his age, at age 2 the sweater is a nice trim fit, he looks modern. I can not recommend a more typical robust 2 year old wearing it at this age.

The dye has maintained it's beautiful rich color. There is no pilling. I actually like washing by hand, it's very fast, so it holds up nicely. This will be an article passed down to many children. I still use this for going out, and trips to the playground I know won't be crazy messy. If it's time to dig in the dirt, I don't put this sweater on him. I don't know if it would be ruined, but I like it too much to chance it. I think it's more practical to have fewer clothing items, a few nice things of great quality, and then some thrifted items for play.

I know some kids who will get anything dirty within 5 minutes, and wouldn't recommend such a pricey clothing item for a child like that. My 24m old is a tidy kid, unlike his 3 older bros, so I think this was a fantastic investment for us. It's his jacket for San Diego cool weather, 60-50f.
