Wipes
Cloth wipes are easier to use than disposable wipes when you are using cloth diapers because you dont need to sort the disposable wipes into the garbage. Just put the cloth wipes into the pail with the diapers. No harsh chemicals, either. You can use warm water by keeping a Thermos Pump Pot filled with warm water at your changing table and wet them down as you need them, or moisten them ahead of time. A young baby appreciates a warm wipe! You can add a touch of gentle soap (Kiss My Face Olive Oil Bar is wonderful) or Kissaluvs Diaper Lotion Potion. These wipes are just the right size which makes them very easy to use. Cloth wipes are an essential item for cloth diapering. The Two-sided wipes are sized to fit in containers made for disposable wipes, or fold the larger wipes in half. Premoisten the wipes and they are ready to go. They fit perfectly in wipes warmers such as Prince Lionheart and DEX, too!
Please don't skip the wipes. Not only is it easier, it's healthier for baby's delicate skin. Ingredients in disposable wipes include Sodium Acrylates/Vinyl Isodecanoate Crosspolymer, Polysorbate 20, Phenylcarbinol, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Hydroxy-Methylglycinate Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Fragrance. If you do use a disposable wipe, take a cloth wipe and clean off all those unpronounceable ingredients rather than leaving them there on baby's skin. You can be brave and start reseaching all those ingredients, or just relax and take a look at Kissluvs Diaper Lotion Potion's all natural ingredients below. Good cloth wipes with Kissaluvs Diaper Lotion Potion really do decrease skin irritations. I firmly believe that!
Two-Sided Wipes

Cotton terry on one side, soft flannel on the other side. Terry is great for the main job, and the nice, smooth, gentle flannel is great for the final touch-up details. White cotton is the best color for wipes, so you can see what you are doing. 5x8 inches, approximate measurements before washing. I love this size, the feel, and the practicality of the 2 different sides. May fit in your wipes warmer without folding. I find it easiest to use several wipes per poopy change, grabbing a fresh wipe as needed, rather than folding a larger wipe over and over. These wipes are a less overwhelming size for a young baby's small bottom, yet still fine as baby grows. To me, flannel on one side and terry on the other has the best "feel" for the job. You might see a thread that needs to be trimmed after the first washing, so trim it. The picture shows them after washing. An inexpensive but good wipe in the perfect size. Fits well in most wipes containers. Suggested amount: 4-5 packs for a young baby, 3 packs for an older baby. 100% cotton. Made in Pakistan.

Flannel Wipes
Soft cotton flannel square wipes, 7.5" x 7.5". 100% cotton. The cotton is top-quality. You can't buy this kind of soft flannel at a sewing store. We get it right from the USA mill, of USA grown cotton, and have them professionally made not far from us. It's soft and stays soft, yet it's durable. Fold in half to fit nicely in a wipes warmer. Choose these as a backup to your Two-Sided Wipes, or as your main wipe if you prefer the thinner feel. If you are used to disposable wipes, you might prefer the feel of these wipes because they will seem more like what you are used to. I still prefer the terry side of the Premium Wipes above for the poopy cleanups and full time use, but I know that some moms really do prefer these thinner wipes for full time use. It's just a style/feel preference. You can never have too many wipes. Once you try cloth wipes, you'll love them. Cloth wipes make sense and are easy to use with cloth diapers. Suggested amount: 4 or 5 packs. Made in USA of USA grown and milled 100%cotton.

Kissaluvs Diaper Lotion Potion Concentrate
Mix the concentrate with witch hazel (about a dollar at any store, sold near the isopropyl alcohol) or distilled water. Spray this mix onto a moist wipe or you can even spray this directly onto baby's bottom to clean, refresh and soothe. Spray bottle available for sixty cents. It's very convenient. Many fancy baby products are overly fragrant, but this smells nice without being overpowering. We like this especially well because it washes easily from the cloth diapers. The concentrate version does not contain any parabens like pre-made sprays do. So if you like a spray (which I do), make it yourself with this. It is easy to grab to make fresh wipes for the diaper bag or changing table. I love this for a good clean up in the morning if your baby sleeps all night. It doesn't just cover the morning odor, it gently cleans the skin. A very, very nice product, and a little goes a very long way. The concentrate may last you a whole year if you use it sparingly like I do. If you like to have your wipes pre-made in a container, put a few drops in before you add the wipes. It is fabulous because it really helps stop your wipes from getting moldy, and doesn't have any no-no ingredients like baby shampoos do (please don't use baby shampoo on your wipes). Great for mom, too - sometimes a shower for mom is hard to find time for with a baby in the house and this is a quick freshen-up. I'm convinced using Kissaluvs Diaper Lotion Potion is the reason why my third baby has no rash problems (and she has lousy, dry excema-prone skin elsewhere). I wish I had this stuff back when my first 2 children were babies. I love, love this stuff! All natural ingredients, no preservatives or parabens in the Concentrate.
Ingredients for Concentrate: Jojoba oil infused with chamomile, lavender essential oil, tea tree essential oil.
To use: shake well, add 1 Tablespoon to 1/2 cup witch hazel. (moneysaving tip from Karen - I find that I get excellent results using only 1 teaspoon. A little goes a long way). Or 1 squirt into distilled water to make a diaper wipes solution.
$14.95 each for large - 4 oz Concentrate, which makes 8 (or more) Spray refills when mixed with your witch hazel
75 Cents each for an empty 4 oz spray bottle to use to make your own spray from the Concentrate. Limit 3 bottles per order. Scroll down to purchase.

Kissaluvs Diaper Lotion Potion Spray

$7.95 each for premixed spray - 4 oz. Just like the concentrate but premixed in the right proportion for you with witch hazel preserved with alcohol. 4 fluid ounces. Spray top. Ingredients: Witch hazel, jojoba oil infused with chamomile, lavender essential oil, tea tree essential oil Shake well. Spray on baby's bottom or wipe. Wipe off. Not a concentrate, a ready to use spray.

Note from Karen: In my experience, the ingredients in the Kissaluvs Concentrate or Spray or the Homestead Wipes Companion Spray really does help prevent diaper rash because they clean bacteria away better than soaps alone. Bacteria causes rash, so when baby's bottom is cleaned well and gently, it will not only smell better but be much less likely to get a rash. It is better to prevent rashes and not need any rash cream than to try to wash rash cream out of cloth diapers, which is not an easy task. If you must use a rash cream, use the flushable diaper liners to protect your diapers. Rash creams are not normally needed for cloth diapered babies. It's common for disposable diapered babies to have their bottoms slathered with rash cream at every change. This is not done on cloth diapered babies. Rash creams are rarely needed at all, unless baby is sick or severly teething. Really! Some of the reason is the cotton diapers themselves, but I wonder if the wipes potions on the cotton wipes are also making a big difference because they work better than disposable wipes. Instead of smearing, cotton wipes clean well. You can make wipes sprays with soap or other ingredients in the inexpensive spray bottle sold above. That is a great economical option! Or keep things simple with these wipes-making product choices: Kissaluvs Concentrate or spray or Homestead Baby Wipes Companion Spray. Which one? Well, which scent and which ingredients do you like? Kissaluvs has lavender, Homestead doesn't. Homestead's scent is slightly orange and is a more mild scent. Kissaluvs spray has witch hazel that is presevered with alcohol, whereas the witch hazel in the Homestead is preserved with benzoic acid. All witch hazel must be preserved somehow. The witch hazel you will find in stores is typically the kind preserved with alcohol. Both sprays are great, in my opinion, so to me, it really comes down to which scent you prefer. I actually like to have both for a little variety. Don't skip the cloth wipes, not matter what you decide to use on them. Cotton wipes are wonderful! (end of my sermon about wipes.)
Homestead Baby Wipes Companion Spray

Ready to use. No mixing. No Lavender essential oil. No alcohol. This is wonderful. I love this, too. It's a great for the special stuff it has in it (emu oil) and also great for what it does not have in it (no lavender and the witch hazel in it has no alcohol). It's very convenient to not have to make up your own stuff. It's ready-to-use. No mixing or measuring. No shopping for hard-to-find ingredients. Unscented alcohol-free witch hazel such as is in this still evades me. I've never found it in a store or anywhere online. I can find aloe and scented alcohol-free witch hazel, but they smell horrible to me so I've always used the regular witch hazel that does have a small alcohol content. That's fine for healthy skin, but it does sting if skin is broken, so this being alcohol-free is quite nice. It has a mild orange scent. This is a convenience item. Premixed and ready to spray. Made in the USA by Homestead Baby.
Ingredients for ready-to-use spray: Witch Hazel (alcohol-free, preserved with benzoic acid), Jojoba Oil, Aloe Vera Oil, Premium Emu Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Eucalyptus, Organic Orange Essential Oil, Grapfruit Seed Extract, Chamomile Essential Oil
To use: shake well, spray directly on skin or on wipe premoistened with water.
$10.95 each, 4 oz ready-to-use spray. (New lower price!)
Stock Status: In stock. Usually ships in 24 hours.
Homestead Baby Wipes Companion Concentrate

Nappy Pins
Also called Nappy Pins. Nappy is the European word for diaper. Since Dritz no longer makes the old-fashioned metal head classic Dritz Pin, we searched and found a place in Europe still making diaper pins with metal heads. These are very much like those wonderful classic pins of yesteryear, with the slide lock head, and - get this - sharp points! Sharp points make pins easier to use, because they slide through the material easier. These are a little more expensive than other painted-head pins out there, but you do get what you pay for and these are certified lead-free. Plastic head pins work fine, but these really are a little nicer. Our painted-head pins are not made in China. These are made in the UK and are certified by a USA CPSC-approved lab to meet the lead-free standards required by the Consumer Product Protection Commission laws. Made in UK. Blue is not available.
$2.85 each 4-pack for Pink
$3.50 each 4-pack for White (white are scarce)
Stock Status: In stock. Usually ships in 24 hours.
Dritz Pins
These work in the same manner that the Nappy Pins work but have plastic heads. These are nice pins also with sharp points and the slide-lock head feature like the Nappy Pins above. Made in Malaysia.
$2.50 each 4-pack for Pink or Blue
$2.85 each 4-pack for White or Yellow
Stock Status: In stock. Usually ships in 24 hours.
Plastic Head Diaper Pins
These pins are fine and they work. I think they are better than the store-bought ones. If you have stiff fingers, you might prefer these for ease of use over the slide-lock head kind. These also have a baby safe feature unlike a plain safety pin. You push in and down at the same time to open them, thus they cannot open by accident. Made in Taiwan. Sold individually. See it on a baby. To receive a pair of pins, order 2 pins.
Each pin $0.45 (so if you order four pins it's $1.80, for comparison)
Stock Status: In stock. Usually ships in 24 hours.
Learn how to use pins and Snappis with your prefolds.
Snappi Fasteners
See this on a baby
Snappis are another really great option to fasten a prefold. Made of a stretchy polyurethane, they have grippers similar to ace bandage closures (but bent back around, not poking down) which hold the prefold in place without pins. I love these. Those moms who like these, really love them a lot! Give one a try. Fastening your prefolds saves you money. How? They help keep poop off the covers because they hold everything in place better than just laying prefold in a cover unfastened. When covers stay clean longer, you don't really need to buy quite so many. Many moms feel that everything works better when the prefold is fastened. Give it a try! Packaged individually, size 1 or size 2 also known as Toddler size. Please note that most babies will only need size 1 from birth to potty learning. Size 2 could be needed for over 18 months old or if very narrow prefolds are being used. Cloth-eez prefolds are wider than other brands thus size 2 snappi is not likely to be needed by most babies. But it's available here for those who do need it. Size 2 gives you about 1.5 to 2 inches more width. Size 2 is in white only. Here's a drawing of how to use them:

$2.50 each size 1, single packs
$7.00 each size 1, triple pack containing mint, pastel yellow and white. (save 50 cents over the cost of 3 single packs, but you can't choose your colors. They are prepackaged with mint, pastel yellow and white only.)
$3.50 each size 2, white only

Diaper Pail Liners

or use large liner as a hanging pail
Size large fits most pails and most kitchen garbage can pail.
Looking for a diaper pail? We don't sell them because any garbage pail with a good lid works well.
Moving the diapers to the washing machine is easier with a liner. This is a good, durable liner that is made to be washed with the diapers. It's extra nice to have two, so you can put a fresh one in the pail right away on wash day. The XLarge is generously sized to fit just about any diaper pail, even most extra tall kitchen garbage pails (choose one with a foot pedal if you can for hands-free operation). The XL Pail Liner also fits in the really wide square pails that take 2 hands to open.
If you are using a smaller diaper pail, such as the ones made for disposable diapers, then the small pail liner for you. The small liner is nice for storing soiled covers separately. You may need two pails and two liners, though. The two-pail system is nice if you have two changing areas, such as in a two story home. Drawstring toggle closure on small and XL, Large have elastic and can be used as hanging pails. All are intended for dry pail use, not for soaking. They are made of a knit polyester with a waterproof layer inside, called PUL (polyurethane laminate). This is the same (or extremely similar) material as the outside of most diaper covers, pocket diapers or all-in-one diapers. It is the exact same material as the outside of the SposoEasy All-in-one Diaper. It's very durable. Wash it with the diapers, but hang it to dry since it dries so much faster than the rest of your diapers. These are also the best thing ever for boating (keeps towels and clothes dry if it rains, have an extra to put the wet stuff in). Great for car trips. Use these instead of suitcases for easy packing into cartop storage units such as Thules. Great laundry bags for college, camping and more. Both Mommys Touch and Blue Penguin liners made in USA.
Mommy's touch size large pail liners available, 26"x29". Fits most tall kitchen garbage cans or hang it.
Small liner $16.00 each. For small pails to about knee height. Drawstring opening, butter yellow only, by Blue Penguin
Large liner $18.00 each. White or colors, by Mommy's Touch, for a standard tall kitchen garbage can pail or hang it. Elastic opening. This is the most commonly needed size.
XLarge liner $19.95. White only, by Blue Penguin. Drawstring opening which is wide for wide-topped or large square top diaper service provided pails.
Stock Status: In stock. Usually ships in 24 hours.
The Potty Pail Complete System
This makes cloth diapering easier. I love it! I cloth diapered for years without it with no trouble, but now that I have one, I do like it a lot, and I honestly won't go back to my old way. This is easier! it's a neat and well thought-out gadget for spraying off diapers into the toilet. It's easy to turn off the valve off when not in use to ensure leak prevention. In some situations, such as common laundry or laundromat users, this can make washing much easier and faster. If you have a low-water toilet purchased after 1994, you might really need this. It's hard to dunk a diaper in a toilet that has hardly any water in it. This is the solution for those low water toilets. It definitely reduces diaper pail odor! I also love this for spraying poop off the edge of my covers so they can more easily be washed with my clothes separately from the diapers. This way my covers last much longer, since I'm able to wash them more gently more easily. I also use this to clean poop off wool effectively if it's just on the edge, without having to wash the whole wool cover. I'm totally spoiled now that I have a Potty Pail! It has it's moments of still being useful even as the kids get older for cleaning dog messes off the bottom of shoes, etc. When you click the Potty Pail image link above or below, you will leave Green Mountain Diapers. We are just an affiliate, and do not sell them ourselves. If you like this idea, I highly recommend the complete system, including the pail because it prevents splashing. But if your bathroom is tiny, check out the sprayer without the bucket shown below.
The Potty Pail Diaper Sprayer
Quality is really important in a diaper sprayer. Why? You do not want a leak or a flood! My husband refused to install the first small sprayer that I purchased because all of the fittings were plastic. But this sprayer is quality. Brass fittings. It's the good one. While the complete system with the bucket is great if you have room for it, if you can't get that system, this is the the one to get. We turned the valve off when not in use to ensure leak prevention. "Having the right tools for the job makes all the difference." You will leave Green Mtn Diapers when you click on the image link. We are an affiliate only, but we tried all of the sprayers on the market that we could find, and this our favorite.
Little Beetles Organic Wool Changing Pad
Organic Merino wool. No polyster, no vinyl. Simple, 1 layer, serged edges, jersey knit. Soft "feels like cotton" stretchy wool. Generously sized at approximately 21"x32" before shrinkage. Although we reccommend handwashing all wool, it can be machine washed on gentle. It is a lovely changing pad, but it's so lovely you might use it for more than that. It might even become baby's favorite blanket to carry around. Or use it as a pad to keep the family bed dry. It's lovely wool. And after you are all done using it as a changing pad, remake it into something else (or even buy one for the purpose of custom sewing your own merino wool cover). Wool lovers will enjoy having a nice size piece of the finest organic merino wool available in the USA, no matter what you use it for. This is the same wool used to make the Little Beetle Wool Wraps and that page has some better closeup pictures of the wool itself. Made in USA of USA grown wool.
$28.50 each
Stock Status: In stock. Usually ships in 24 hours.
Mommy's Touch Changing Pad

Vinyl-free! Washable, too. Waterproof soft PUL on the back side with cotton sherpa inside and polyester microfleece on the top. 15" x 24". This one is more padded and soft. It has a snapping strap so you can roll it up and close it for keeping things neat and easy to find in your diaper bag. Much nicer and cleaner than the vinyl ones that come with many diaper bags. Think about how a changing pad is used. You place it on a public changing area, then afterwards you fold it up onto itself (bottom touching changing surface now) and shove it in the diaper bag. It's not clean after that, and it's not easily washed. This changing pad is washable! It can even be washed with the diapers. Also use this to lay on the bed during nighttime diaper changes so you don't have to move baby and it keeps bed dry and clean, and disturbs baby less than moving baby to the changing table. Great for family bed night changes so your feet never hit the ground thus everyone is less disturbed. So handy for so many things! Coordinates with Mommy's Touch Wet Bags. Made in USA by Mommy's Touch.
$15.50 each
Stock Status: In stock as listed in dropdown box. Usually ships in 24 hours.
Wet Bags / Tote Bags
Tote bags make cloth diapering easy when you are on the go. Just put the wet diaper in the bag and close it up. Then put the tote bag in your diaper bag to keep the rest of the diaper bag fresh and dry. While they are made for transporting wet diapers, tote bags are useful for other things, too. They are excellent for putting wet bathing suits in after swimming. Just the right size for the job. Holds several diapers. No vinyl in any of our totes. Machine wash cold or warm, hang to dry.
Mommy's Touch Wet Bags

regular size
size large
Zipper closure, waterproof PUL polyester knit tote in great colors. A handy loop for hanging or grabbing. I call them totes, but lately people are calling these wet bags. Both mean the same thing - a waterproof bag to put dirty diapers in. Put the dirty diaper into this bag, zip it closed, then put this into in your diaper bag, and it stores them to bring them home and keeps the rest of your diaper bag clean. Regular size is 12 x 14 inches and holds about 5 diapers. Large is quite large at 15"x19" and holds about 10-12 diapers. Large is great for all day at daycare. Made in the USA by Mommy's Touch.
$12.95 each size regular
$13.95 each size large

Lansinoh Lanolin
Lansinoh lanolin for re-lanolizing your wool covers. Unlike other lanolins you might find out there, Lansinoh is pure and does not "smell like a wet sheep" like some others I've tried. See the video of how to wash wool. Lanolizing as shown in the video does give the best wool performance results, and this is the least expensive way to lanolize your wools. Inexpensive and very effective. Pure lanolin; no alcohol or detergent residues. More effective than liquid lanolins and homemade mixes. Also great for breast soreness and is often called Lansinoh Lanolin for breastfeeding mothers. Lansinoh Lanolin is also the best rash cream ever in our opinion. Use this as a natural moisture barrier on baby's bottom, and for healing rashes. Also great for dry, cracked hands. It works! And it's totally pure with no funky "unpronounceables". Since it melts in hot water, it washes out of cloth diapers quite well, too, unlike many grocery store rash creams. A must for all babies, even if you don't choose wool covers.
$9.95 each, 2 ounces
Stock Status: In stock. Usually ships in 24 hours.
Lanolin Soap - stain bar

Spot clean your wool quickly! Handmade in Vermont by Hug-a-Dub-Dub. 4 ounce unscented bar contains saponified oils of olive, soybean and coconut, and lanolin. Great for washing wool covers or any woolens and especially great for spot cleaning wool covers. I love that it is unscented. It softens my dry hands, too. Lovely soap. It's made for washing wool covers, and it is indeed wonderful for that, but it's also my very favorite hand soap, too, since it moisturizes my hands with no funky scents. It feels soooo nice! I really enjoy washing my wool covers in this soap. It's fun! Lanolize the regular way with Lansinoh Lanolin like in the video but using this soap instead of the Eucalan. Or just use it for spot cleaning. It is not "work" to handwash wool, it's fun!
"I purchased this for spot cleaning my wool covers, but my daughter has really dry skin so we tried it as a bath bar and she loves it. I think the lanolin in it is helping her skin." Mary, 5/2006
$4.95 each
Stock Status: Out of stock.
Washing wool is easy, and it is needed only very infrequently, sometimes only once a month. Wool airs out to fresh easily.
View our video of how to wash wool here.
Eucalan Wool Wash
Unscented, Lavender or Eucalyptus
Eucalan Woolwash the most popular and inexpensive way to wash wool covers. It restores some lanolin with each washing. Easy to use because it's easy to measure, unlike the soap, where you have to guess until you get a feel for how much to use. If you are machine washing your Imse Vimse or Covered Caboose wools, you need a liquid lanolin enriched woolwash. Some customers say they never relanolize when they use the Eucalan, but we still think periodic relanolizing with Lansinoh Lanolin or Imse Wool Cure is still necessary. This is far superior to grocery store wool washes, which strip the lanolin off the covers and cause them to leak. Which scent to choose? Personal preference mostly, except that the Eucalyptus is a natural moth and flea inhibitor, so if you have moths, get Eucalyptus. Both the Eucalypus and Lavender are scented with natural oils not synthetic fragrance. The scents are very mild. Not strong at all. Unscented has no moth-inhibiting properties. View our video of how to wash wool here.
16.9 fl. oz. $13.95 each, choose lavender, eucalyptus or unscented
Stock Status: In stock. Usually ships in 24 hours.
Imse Vimse Wool Shampoo and Wool Cure

For those who prefer unscented, Imse Woolwash is wonderful. Deep cleaning, keeps wool soft. The Woolcure is very easy to use, since it never glops. No grey spots on your beautiful wools with Imse Wool Cure. The wool cure is the BEST for Snugglewools. You really can't effectively lanolize a Snugglewool, but I put some wool cure right in my machine when I wash my Snugglewool and they remain very soft. It's a very nice system for woolcare, with excellent instructions right on the bottles. No need for a video; this is really easy. Just like with the Eucalan you need the Eucalan woolwash and Lansinoh Lanolin because you need 1) a way to wash and 2) a way to lanolize, with the Imse you also need to buy both to properly care for your wool. Yes, you can use the Eucalan woolwashes to wash with, then use the Imse Wool Cure to lanolize instead of the Lansinoh Lanolin because the Wool Cure is easier to use than the Lansinoh. Still keep the Lansinoh around for a great rash/barrier cream (great during teething), and in case you want a heavier lanolization. Imse wool care products are the easiest to use, since you don't have to melt any lanolin and you never get glops. Great for wool first-timers. Easy!

Wool Cure $12.95 each

Bummi Original is a diaper cover that can be used as a swim diaper IF you put a bathing suit over it. It's the exact cover as the Bummi Swimmi sold elsewhere, but without the cotton printed material on the outside.
Charlie's Soap
Charlie's Soap Laundry Powder or Liquid. It's not a soap, in spite of it's name, but it washes well and rinses easily. It's petroleum-free! Clean rinsing. Great stuff! This is the best of the best for your diaper laundry, and all your household laundry. I'm a total nut to be in love with a laundry product, but after 10 years of trying and testing every laundry product out there as scientifically as I could, this is my favorite. It even works on synthetics (petroleum-based detergents leave a residue on polyester fleece that causes it to repel liquid and thus leak). Use it full time for all of your laundry. Laundry Info 101: Please note that if you switch back and forth between typical detergents (that contain petroleum, whiteners, brighteners and enzymes ) and Charlie's, the Charlies will work on stripping off the residue and gunk from the mainstream detergent. That gunk takes several cycles to strip off, so as it is being removed it will sit on top of on your diapers and cause problems. So don't use the gunk detergents and keep your diapers residue-free. When switching to Charlie's for the first time after using a mainstream detergent, you'll need to run several cycles to clear out the residues from your prior detergent. Use Charlie's full time so you don't have any bad stuff in you machine or on your diapers to cause problems. Also, some people have mistaken the term "clean rinsing" by thinking that it somehow required less rinsing than another detergent. That's not right. All laundry products must be fully rinsed. Clean rinsing means that when the diapers are fully rinsed, it does not leave a residue. When fully rinsed out and used full time, Charlie's is fabulous, the best of the best. Add an additive-free oxygen cleaner to your hot cycle with your Charlie's to sanitize, as is needed for all detergents stanitize. Your diapers will be clean, and both residue and petroleum-free! It's low-sudsing and suitable for HE washers. Unlike other detergents, Charlie's is honest about how much you need, so there is no need to "use half the amount". The scoop is properly sized, not oversized. A new window will open when you click on the links below. Green Mountain Diapers does not sell Charlie's Soap, but if you click through on the link below to purchase we do receive a small referral commission. Even if we didn't get a commission, I'd still post this link. I really love this stuff, and all the Charlie's products. Charlie's Soap is a registered trademark of Shiloh Products, Inc.

Size Small, age 15-24 months, 24 to 31 pounds. I think it can work on even younger babies and ECers.
Size Medium, age 2-3 years, 28-37 pound. I think it runs a little bit smaller than that, perhaps 24-35 pounds, because a little looser is easier to pull up and down. Medium is the correct size for most average-size toddler potty-learners.
Size Large, age 3-4 years, 33 to 44 pounds.
Size Junior, age 4-5 years, 41 to 55 pounds.

Starbunz Super Undies
Starbunz Super Undies cotton interior training pants
Forget the stay-dry pull-them-ups that cost a fortune and don't help your trainee learn. Cotton is the best. Waterproof polyester PUL outer in the wet zone, leotard-like stretchy sides, 100% cotton interior. Unsnaps at the back just in case of an accident and unsnapping is needed. Easy pull-down and pull-up for learning. An interior pocket to stuff if more absorbency is needed. Smart design! Designed by a mom and it works very well. You want a trainer to be trim and as underwear-like as possible, thus change when wet because it is a trainer, not a diaper (but they can work like a small diaper on a young baby and are great for ECers.) They can be nice to have as a diaper for some certain outfits that just won't fit over cloth diapers, but still stay in cloth as long as you keep up with the changes. Made in the USA.
More info here.
