100% Chemical Free Sckoon Organic Cotton Pads are made of 100% certified organic Egyptian cotton, which is grown without harmful pesticides, hand picked and treated without the use of any chemicals, and certified by the International Certification Board, Demeter. Egyptian organic cotton is known as the most luxurious cotton in the world; with its extra-long fibers, it is incredibly soft, super-absorbent, breathable and durable. All the sewing threads are also 100% organic cotton and the snaps are nickel-free to prevent allergy.

Practical Design! Unlike most menstrual pads that require users to change the entire pad when it feels wet, Sckoon Organic Cotton Pads allow a user to swap out the liner only, which desined to sit on top of the holder. This feature also allows users to purchase fewer pads and travel light.

The first time I used these I did not bother to read the directions, and I used them upside down. They work just fine upside down, but that way you miss the feature of being able to change just the inlay (liner) instead of the whole pad. Does it matter if it's upside down? No. Either way is fine, really. But I really hate a damp feeling so I really like being able to quickly flip over the liner to a fresh place without having to change anything, or just quickly change the insert. With the Sckoon pouch, it makes things easy when out and about because the liners are smaller than an AIO pad. But the AIO pads are nice, too. That's a personal style preference, really. The Giza Pouch has 2 parts to it inside, separated by a thin piece of the waterproof material. This is a smart design because this way you can have a fresh pad on one side and a separte place for another pad. This is a good design, and it's small.

I love the Sckoon pads over all the others I have tried. Why? Comfort. Yup, it's all about comfort for me. I don't like the sweaty feeling of the pads with thick fleece layers layers. Plus no other cotton I've tried matches the softness of the Sckoon. Yes, there are less expensive pads out there, but really, are they worth it if you buy them and don't use them because they are not comfortable? And no microfleece for me, either. The microfleece kind felt horrible to me. Organic cotton is so much nicer. But, to each her own preferences. Personally, Sckoon pads are the only menstrual pad in my stash I actually will use.
